let me know where you go for the subject I brought up. also Q the US had its own problems so donations can't be numba 1 all the time. despite the economy and housing crash.
and when you wanted to do a tier 8 plat I still needed to do my tier 6s and 7 before i do tier 8s and 9. anyways i finally got the mod to work on the crew somewhat. but its not working properly. They US tree can only use VC2 characters, while the Britons can use the GUP characters, Germans can use the various anime collection i have, and Russians use the characters I got from Pen. Kinda sux to have a limited selection. Oh well i'll figure it out some other time. Now I need figure out how to do the GUP loading screens, songsm and sounds. The english voice overs are getting mudane and boring. right now I have Windows Media Player in the background playing TAMNI/TAKNR character songs for background music.

there are two tier 6 tanks i'm looking at to buy.
the KV2 to plat wit UTE for laughs and IS line. the question is which one should i get first... anyone got suggestions? I only have enough to focus on one at the moment. the 3rd selection would be go up the T25/2 line for my 2nd tier VII.

The KV-2 is not good without some equipment first and 100% crew. When you have those 2 things is murderous anithing on it's tier and below, and can still give higer tier a run for their lifes.
The (in)famous derp gun (152mm) is almost the same as a hit from a tier 6 arty to the face so you know what to expect. With gold it's murderous factor goes up to 11 (still i never use gold in it) |

we should do a KV2 laughing platoon with the 152 derp. but to be effective we would need to take turns derping. to cover each other's long ass reload time.
I might hook it up if I decide to get it, if I put mods on it to make reload faster i'll need to permanently keep it till I can pay it off. well well well, I lost 2k profits on dragon's ridge on the M103, but in the process I had a hell of a time pushing a T-34 to his imminent doom off the cliff before I died. XD

For current clan battles, the preferred heavy tank is actually the T110E5.

ahem Kami, If your resources are limited, I'd suggest working on the IS first. The KV-2 is amusing, but can be murdered easily on quite a few maps (anything with long fire zones, significant elevation changes, or Redshire). It would be somewhat safer with a couple of medium escorts, but there's still the map issue. Push with it? It can barely average 20 KPH on uneven ground. Oh, and the other thing: In three games with the ELC AMX last night, I quickly discovered one thing: The tank weighs so little that colliding with anything, be it cars, trees, or overly-enthusiastic lampposts, will knock off most of its momentum. "This kills the tank..." And yeah, it's much more like a TD that can displace extremely well than a scout (but the turret traverse is more limited than a lot of TDs!), though as long as there's a good radio relay it's a passable quasi-scout. yeah it was the T34 american, but i don't like to relook at the posts, since the M103 is a tier 9 heavy in the US line, you'd rarely see the T-34 Russian commie tank in a tier 8/9 match. Unless of course some retard platooned a T-34 Russian. yeah i like shortcuts so i don't really bother typing the whole name out.

Since there are two lines anyway, if you've unlocked the weapons (and modules) in the IS line, then you'll have most of the weapons prepared for the KV line to ease the grind. I myself plan to go up the IS line first since I'm aiming for the IS-8, though that'll be in the future. Right now it's grinding for the Pershing's modules, then the Tiger II and the Churchill Gun Carrier.

I have worst luck ever today, my win rate went from 181 more wins than losses to 165 more wins than losses. and most of them I do 1400+ dmg, 3 of them I have 5 kills, yet still lose... it just frustrating how hard my team fail even when I try my best to win. (was running my PzIV full HEAT derp)

Another reason I like my variety: Hitting a wall with one tank can be overcome by trying something else out.
I used the Panther II for the first time in a week, after swapping the binoculars for a vertical stabilizer, and generally annoyed the enemy from the side streets of the city in Live Oaks. It worked well enough. Though the best part was the guy on our team (in a Super Pershing!) who complained about the team's 43% overall win ratio through all of setup time, the two minutes he was alive, and the next two minutes after that. He shut up after we went up 10-5 and rolled onto the enemy base. I think everyone would be a lot less [bleep][blank]ish if XVM had never been created. |
