Looks like this turns into a strip battle... whenever Koga gets Akune, Maguro removes a piece of clothing (Maguro... Hot pants... I'M BLIND!!!!!) and whenever Akune lands a shot on Koga, White Black has to remove some clothing. Chapter ends with her removing her bandages. We don't see her face-- just from behind. Looks like she could be hot. But seriously, Strip Judo? I think Nishio has lost all sense...

Only got to loook over the raw briefly but it looks like Maguro decided to use Akune's fight to amuse himself. He is so messed up haha.

Looks like we should get to see Naze's face next week. Makes me wonder if we are going to be seeing Beauty or the Beast. XD

She almost looks like she's running into Maguro's arms. From that second picture, makes me wonder if she's another sibling or something... or maybe a former lover. That color picture was creepy, though, with Medaka all over Maguro like that. So wrong. ><

Ok, can't read the Raws, but it looks like Naze might be another part of the Kurokawa family and she got upset that she couldn't keep up with Medaka and Maguro, abnormal-wise and was jealous. So, she worked her way up from being just Special to Abnormal and joined the flask plan. I could be totally off, but that's what the pictures show me. Medaka comes in at the last second to save the day... and I see ranking plummeting again like they did when she was the focus last time. :P More Zen please. You think Nishio would notice that the chapters that just happened to move the manga out of the bottom were Zen's... while all the focus on Medaka kept it down. But, he probably doesn't care about that anyway.

I am sad I once again only got to take a quick look at the RAW. Oh well. This was a nice color page. Although it must clearly be shown from Maguro's point of view haha. I like it better than the last one at any rate.

This is unexpected. It would seem that at the very least, Naze knew Maguro and Medaka when they were younger. She uses that past to apparently trick Maguro and drug him with something that will keep him from taking much action it seems. I wouldn't be surprised if she was busy trying to prove she was better than them thus Akune stating she went from Special to Abnormal.

Even more unexpected was Medaka busting in at the end. I am happy to see her but I wonder just how this is going to be resolved in terms of match ups. Or if there will be minimal fighting and this gets solved with words. Well, as stubborn as Abnormals are, I somehow doubt that is the case.

Nishio is probably one of those people who just wants to get his story across rather than constantly pander to fandoms. We see that in Bleach with Hitsugaya and Naruto with Sasuke. I may or may not be wrong about his intent, but he is making it clear atm that this is Medaka's manga. Of course that doesn't mean that other characters can not shine too but its obvious that this current situation in the manga pertains to Medaka and not to Zenkichi. Thus why Zenkichi isn't the one busting the wall down here....

Oh my, so it turns out that Naze is their sister (I think Medaka refers to her as such at the end of the chapter) and her real name is Kujira Kurokami. It seems they're keeping the theme of sea creatures since Kujira means whale.

So I did catch that kanji right while rushing and they are indeed related. Fairly messed up of Maguro considering he has pretty blatantly shown that he only cared about Medaka most of the time. No wonder Kujira looked to have some animosity against him when he showed up.

Glad to see my eyes still work. Thought she looked a lot like Medaka and Maguro, just with a bigger forehead. If anything, this chapter pretty much confirms that the whole Kurokami family is f'ed up. So, will we see an incestual Yuri kiss between Medaka and Naze next chapter to get Naze to have a change of heart?
