Yes - Jiraiya is a mythical figure in Japan (read: not created by Kishimoto).

Is Orochimaru a mythical figure as well? Because that is just sick, the only thing missing is the girl in the Game to be called Tsunade

It's not based on Naruto, and Naruto isnT' the only one who uses Justsu like that.

Wow ... they made quite an obvious ripoff ... I wonder if it's going to sell...

I'd like to point out that Naruto is the name of a character and the series, read more carefully before correcting :/

I was mearely stating that i have seen other animes and games who do Justsu just like in the Naruto anime.

For sure this new game looks a lot like the Naruto universe, perhaps it is a ripoff but note that the Naruto series did not invent anything, the only thing they did was made Ninja action for kids(well not just for kids but kids can watch this)

Since i'm older, i can't wait for a Adult like Naruto show or Movie.(note that i LOVE the Naruto serie)

Orochimaru is a character from the kabuki play The Tale of Gallant Jiraiya, but the legend of Orochi of Koshi is much older, as he was said to be an eight-headed giant snake who terrorized ancient Japan, until the storm and war god Susano killed him, gutted him, and found the blade that would become Kusanagi in his stomach.

Besides there are already 2 or 3 threads (maybe in the old forum thought) about the folkloric characters Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru ^^

The real difference is that in the myth Jiraiya and Tsunade were married when the Jiraiya of Naruto only dream about that

So Jiraiya marries Tsunade? Thats pretty funny. For some reason I can't see that happening in Naruto. But anyway thanks Raikage its good to be informed I had my suspisions that there was more to some of these characters and you proved that
