And before Akiha and Imo-chan met Blackbelt and was in the lift: "Ojou-sama, kami wa gucha gucha desu~" *starts doing Akiha's hair with those 2 tiny arms* Imo-chan is a terribly cute mascot.

Done some reading up on the names of the QT-Arms.
Starsylph is possibly a reference to solar winds. I say this because sylphs are wind spirits, and well all know what the Sun is. Wygar is apparently an old Celtic word meaning "wizard" or "wise man". It's only "apparently" because I can't find much on it. Ravana (Takane's QT-Arms) is from Hindu mythology, the king of rakshasas. Bouminda, Bougailian and Mintiger are clearly super-robot inspired names. They have as much meaning as "King Kittan", "Dayakkaiser" or "GaoGaiGar". |

Namely, that since the QT-Arms is thought-controlled, there is an advantage in having humanoid body shapes to aid mental visualization. (The lack of male pilots is an interesting problem... We have no proof that male pilots CAN use QT-Arms!) Still, it amuses me that many of the feminine touches are impossible to see most of the time. Perhaps it's to be admire at a later date when the possible model kits or figures get released?

don't kill me for asking this...
is there chances for male QT-arms pilot? i mean most of us watching this show are probably males, and so my question is kinda dumb... but consider most QT-arm design seems to be feminine, and all pilots we seen so far are girls. |

The most exact piece of evidence is Itsuki saying that the Student Council has Ex-QTs, the knife throwing guy has to be an Ex-QT, seeing how she can fight against Honoka. QT itself is some sort of Quantum Brainwave or something, so it should be in both females and males. Also I'm sure all the Boxmen, the Nervalists are men.

As for Ex-QT, I am suspecting the word Ex-QT probably meant Extended-Quantum Transducer. Which means they are able to Quantum Transduce without the need of QT arms or other equipment, or maybe with some implant, which is a little bit like the Biotics in Mass Effect. They have the power to control dark matter or manipulate the environment at quantum scale. However, they probably have a brand mark on them, like Honoka's on her left back. The reason why they are marked is because they are different from normal humans. The female and male Ex-QTs are probably neither male nor female, it is just that they have defectors, like Honoka and the male student council bodyguard.

...Oh neat, they have a question-answer page on the Sorakake site where you can submit your own questions now.
Also, I like how they're calling the audio drama tracks on the character CDs "Sound Cinema"s; I haven't seen that term used before, and for whatever reason, I like it. Oh right, and I've been meaning to mention this but keep forgetting about it: Spoiler:
EDIT: After looking at the description for the Ravana, I noticed (though I can't read or speak Japanese very much, if at all, I've gradually been learning katakana and hiragana) a mention of "energy sword", which I assume refers to the blades that extend from its limbs (for lack of a better word) when it spins like a top, but also a mention of "cockpit", which I'm not really sure about. Since the names of the swords that Tokkan mentioned appear very soon after, is it simply stating that Hinowa and Kogetsu are stored in the cockpit? Last edited by Cat Megex; 2009-02-26 at 12:20. |

Hinowa the katana and Kogetsu the kodachi. Hinowa means 'Solar Cycle/Circle', Kogetsu means 'Lonely Moon'.
