Yeah the misunderstandings can get pretty crazy and hilarious at times.

Also.... SR is one of the uniques animes i have found.......
i mean this anime is unpredictable... unlike other anime you can predict who is going to be the final boss/enemy or who is going to have a relationship......
people cant decide or dont know which harima will end up with....
or what's going to happen to them......
also... SR has many misunderstandings... that's why we laugh so hard......

This might be a stretch, nobody's hairstyle/colour (with exception to Karen, Mikoto & Itoko) is weird. I dunno, it's kind hard to find an anime without that dodgy element...

Indeed, I really don't like the whole.. pink hair/Blue hair deal. Some animes get carried away

White hair seems the most acceptable weird hair color though.

At least white hair still applies to real life, even though white hair is commonly on elderlies, but also goes well with very extreme hair dye (blonde) which is quite common today.

Also, not only the hair colour, but SR has their characters change hair style regularly compared to other animes who just stick with 1 throughout the series.

Eri is the perfect e.g. from party to pajamas & from sporty to her natural preference.

Heck, even Harima works too, messy to bold & from with whiskers to none.

If that's the case than SR has officially no chance to redeem itself from it's horrible ending.

But.. now I lost confidence that he'll put anything in order or make serious connections with the SR story.

school rumble fan base is really small right now. I'm also pretty sure more attention is drawn towards his newer works or just other works being released. I don't have any complaints about what he is releasing right now. I just wish I could read what has been released (5,6,7) Dx

I'm well aware many of the people that do post here don't like it because it isn't what they want, but honestly if there is still stuff being released all the better. I just don't think its something to be complaining about if you're not having to pay for it.

Also it hasn't even been 10 chapters so I don't know in the large scope of things how it will continue to go. I'll continue to read it and the only downside to keeping up with it will be all the references and the humor that I don't get. If I could understand all the jokes that would just make it that much better, but oh well.

MANGA is really much different than ANIME.....
i really WISH they animate season 3........ T_T
cause the soudtrack of School rumble really makes me cry....

I'm not sure what the future holds for School Rumble, but it's not looking too good unfortunately. Both in anime and SRZ prospects. I would love to see another season animated, with the good content that was skipped over, but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen. It seems like Kodansha just really wanted to sweep this series aside, and just give the fans something to nibble on (an OVA and SRZ). Hopefully this isn't the case, and SRZ becomes awesome and we eventually get a satisfying anime adaptation of it all (including what was skipped from SR).

How much truth does the theory that KJ was forced to end School Rumble hold?

I hate to say this, even on SRZ4 where it looks like it's play out to original SR plot (but flash back) it doesn't seem...well, right.

Wasn't Tenma & Yakumo's relationship turned from bad (well, from Yakumo's POV) to good when they've resolved their problems when they're little kids? You know, Tenma put in an effort to "borrow" the same book she destroyed from the library? Doesn't make much sense that Yakumo still treats Tenma badly when they grew up to teenagers...

If it remains as parody & not relevant to the original SR plot, it's a nice 1-off.

To me it's just another parody,

the odds of Harima having this whole Christmas thing and meeting up with the Tskamoto sister is a little too out of the blue and the future comparison doesn't sink in either.

Chapter six was the only thing close to SR we got.. so anything that fills the empty gaps that were left out during the time skips would help greatly.

It can be true but you have to know that there is always a given term to do that and it is longer than SR two chapters so if anything KJ knew before he started the last two chapter crap about it.
