Was that really Nessa? Because in the original design she had light purple hair, but in this one she has dark red hair. If it is...then I think dark red hair looks good on her.

When 3 of the 4 girls on the character page have the exact same hair and eye colour, I guess it's no surprise they decided to change it

(assuming there's no plot related reason for them to look alike)

They look nothing alike now, so there most likely weren't any reason they looked alike in the first place (I thought it was going be an actual plot point, too...).

The manga, as I've previously mentioned, is very faithful to the original character designs (and being scanned if you guys haven't read it). I will watch couple episodes of the anime, but I'm tempted just abandon the show all together and just follow the manga. The OST might be decent though ...

And Nessa too apparently. Everything on the website just complete false advertisement for the anime (assuming no changes are made before airing). How dare they! Seriously, the anime is the central piece of the franchise, not the manga, not the novels (for which the illustrations were created).

Indeed! Original character concepts are meant to be followed by everything but the central piece of the franchise (and there's a novel?). This concept is indeed original to me.

I didn't mean to suggest such a thing, merely that what is "original" in this case is not even an issue. And yes, the novelization is in the works.

It's early, but I have already prepared a characters/seiyuus page, with pics and info from the official site. These are the official pics of the characters, and they look pretty good to me. I'll add more characters/seiyuus as they show up on the site.
