Pls not shaft, heck I'm even hesitant if it's A-1. Diomedia is good but their color palet is a bit too cheerful for this, so probably White Fox or Satelight could do it.

First thing first though, does the LN even sell well in Japan?

I'm fine with anything as long as the director isn't someone who didn't understand the story and ended up butchering he anime content[like SnD, STnBD, Campione, HnA, MnS etc]

I actually quite like Campione anime direction, imo it's even better than the LN (which suffer a lot from pointless blabber early on). While director is very important, studio also plays big role, SHAFT has those weird fetish regarding visual style that I don't really want to see on series like this, while A-1 has light stroke on character design (hard to explain this).

There will never ever be LN adaptation that could satisfy all fans (since they each have their own expectation) since it's impossible to fully show everything and sometimes concession must be made, hence the "butcher". What's MnS by the way, Mahou Sensou?

Hello people! While this is my first time posting on this particular thread, I've caught up about half-way through Volume 20 so please don't mind me. Anyway I've been wanting to post this for a while but, does anyone know where to find the illustrations for Volume 4? I haven't found any yet despite the fact that for most, if not all, the light novel series I've read, the illustrations for the new volume end up being found within the first two weeks of its release. Well, it can't be helped now, but if anyone happens to find the illustrations for Volume 4 please let me know. Thank you.

I know that, and that's what I normally do. The only reason I'm even asking in the first place is because this is a large thread with a lot of people who go on the thread. Because of the size of threads like this, it's usually easier to find information on a particular series. If that fails, then you wait until the information presents itself on the thread. That, at least in my opinion, is common sense.
