Character Discussion - Kallen

well it still the same, they dropped their own name to further their goals. Altho the whole Kallen storyline having a crush on lelouch started in ep2 of R2. In R1 she sees Lelouch as a well to do, britannian snob. Although she did suspected him of Zero, she never really think much of him. In R2 when she knows he's Zero, she started to think differently, starting when he gave her his coat to cover up her bunny suit. Although she stated that she looks at Zero and Lelouch as two different persons, now she sees them as one an the same.

Why don't we discuss the first picture drama then? Since its mostly about Kallen -> Lelouch.

the op shows kallen in a OOBK uniform and she looks sad
now we know why
and the four in the op (kallen gino anya nina) all look like people who would join lulu (or in nina's case she'll at least do a heel face turn)

Would if I could understand the whole thing. From what I can gather, they're about to retrieve Lelouch and Kallen is thinking about the question she asked him in episode 2.

They chat/argue over food and the room being a mess.

Kallen asks C.C. about pictures and about Lelouch. C.C. informs her about Lelouch practicing the piano, how Shirley got herself into the studying with Rivalz and Lelouch, and then both muse about how much Lelouch hasn't changed.
Kallen says she'll have to confront Lelouch about something.
C.C. asks her what, but Kallen is interupted (surprise) before she can answer.
Urabe calls and tells them to prepare.
C.C. looks out the window and thinks to herself that she'll restart time for Lelouch, for that is their...
Kallen talks 'to' Lelouch in that he has to become Zero again or that she'll... (camera focuses on Kallen)

That was a rather tender moment of Lelouch. He knew she was suddenly bashful and he covered her with his jacket.

Kallen is also the first to show up during that reveal of all those members. She's in her fluight suit and rather happy. Blowing a kiss even

Now we know why? What do you mean? Explain...

I still have a hard time imagining Nina joining Lelouch. All Schneizel or Kanon have to do is mention that he murdered Euphemia...right? She would never join with that looming.

Nope because ZERO killed Euphemia and even Schneizel released the reports about how ZERO died.
Guess it could effect Nina, but she's in utter shock now for what she had done. Her will to set things right could be more important to her.

We know that Kallen will have a speaking role in the next episode. I just wonder how large a role that will be.
I think it's a safe bet that Lelouch will exits as the new Emperor. Seeing Kallen's reaction to that news should be good.
