Oh man~ I still have to wait one hour more for my reunion dinner! And....and....the smell of the food coming from the kitchen is simply irresistable!!

Happy chinese new year (Gung hei fat choi? - cantonese but i'm pretty poor at it hahahah). I'm year of the OX! Ox POwer. Anyway, have a nice new year. To Asakura_Y0h, not sure about other chinese families in UK, but for my family, we don't meet up relatives normally (but if we do its for a meal at weekend regardless of the day chinese new year is). UK does not have a day off for chinese new year so i'll be off to school in the morning

..... i think everyone can celebrate the new year...... as long as some1 is giving you lucky money ^^

wel. I think in tradition, you get the lucky money on the Second day of the new year... so if you missed seeing your parents on the 1st day, itz ok... you can go on the 2nd ^^

well... my family is more on the traditional sideline, they will visit our grandies on the 23rd....... so ... $$$$$

I got $500 bucks baby from my aunt! And another $200 from assorted family members. Big money baby! Those monkey sure nod their heads crazily fast. I know it's late but yea, happy new monkey year. Too bad I'm a tiger. They (many asians) say people born under the dragon zodiac are the best. But tigers are the 2nd best! HA! According to many zodiac descriptions, I'm supposed to be bold, courageous, fearless...etc (things regarding that matter), but I have short temper, and a tendency to be easily angered. Also I'm capable of being very emotional (maybe a good or bad thing). Actually I don't believe any of that stuff. But however being a tiger is a bummer. In funerals of my grandparents, during the burial process, I can't be near my grandparents, because apparently my tiger spirit would scare away the spirit of my grandparents. So I had to sit about 20 meters away with my uncle (who was also a tiger), while they laid my grandparents to rest. Also the ferocity of the tiger spirit increases the later of the month you've born in. So a december tiger is the fiercest.
