But really, I kind of lost a bit of interest with Blood Sign after the time travel crap. Time travel is already not that good, and the author pulled off the worst type he could think of: the one where everybody gets happy, everything resolved like it was nothing, and everyone forget everything. Really great, Kamachi!

That's Kamachi alright

While I do love Time Travel events, that conclussion does seem iffy(not the everyones happy thing, just the everyone forgets thing)

Yeah, while I respect Kamachi as an author, he's too attached to happy endings. While he doesn't need to go full bad ending, but maybe compromise with a bittersweet one?

Taking from the HO thread a bit, but that's why I read his works. It either comes out bittersweet or happy, which is part of why I love reading it so much. It's usually more bittersweet though.

Oh no, I'm not complaining about a happy ending. I actually love happy endings, and dislike tragedy and sad endings.

The problem here is the crappy way that the "happy end" was accomplished.

EDIT: Honestly, when I first read the words 'time travel' in the summary I thought: "How convenient"

At the very least, I complained. That movie was simply horrible.

Besides, like you said, it's too convenient.

Blood Sign won the poll so it will be done. Releases will be slow though, but hey at least it is.

Excellent news!

Even if the translations are slow it will be nice to be able to read the novels since I did found what's already translated interesting. I would like to be able to judge the novel fairly and not just go by summaries and spoilers.

It's surprising how many people automatically dismissed the series after js06 said he didn't find it interesting enough despite him saying he didn't actually read the novel beyond what he translated.

I did at first but I realized that's silly. Js06's opinion isn't fact nor is it more valid than others.

He says it's cause of the terminology, which I understand given what Miraluka said.

I'm also won't be the one to criticize personal tastes.

That damned summon-billiard system is one of the most complicated things Kamachi has done and I still have a bit of trouble picturing the translated battle in my head. He could have gone with normal summoners but it seems Kamachi can't go full orthodox.

It's ridiculous. I'm not ashamed to admit I barely understand it... I'll definitely have to re-read the opening chapters right before the new ones release.

Complicated systems are something I enjoy reading provided they are logical. Looking forward to what is in store now that it is being picked up again

That billiard system did seem pretty complicated so I'll have tp re-read how it works again before the new translations to get how everything works.

The billiard board is a pain in the ass, I don't think you can actually convert a sport fight into a text version. Without visual aid it is just really hard to visualize it.
