I hope they'll keep the humor in one of the funniest fights that is about to start in next 2-3 episodes.

Epic episode again, I'm amazed that I still get this pumped after each weeks episode (considering a lot of series lag in the middle, which this one hasn't done at all, and I've read the manga too).
But I must say, got enough eyeshadow there pride?

I kept giggling when I saw it and have no idea how eating Gluttony results in more defined eyes.

Any word on when the manga is coming to an end? The anime seems to be catching up to it very quickly. Doesn't only 1 manga chapter come out per month or some such?

Adaptation is said to be 63 episodes, so if that works out then 3 more manga chapters should be the job.

& yes, the manga is monthly.

Oddities guys, During the Kanama scene where Scar meets the slum, is it just me or I've heard Miyano Mamoru's voice as one of the slums?

Yeah he voiced a minor character. No surprise, because it's happened quite a few times already with different voice actors.

Woohoo Got to see Hohenhiem in action, He was great. And yes that was a bad cliff hanger. I like the opening song ok, I still like the ending song better, which is a rare accurance, it's usualy the other way around with most shows, speaking of the end, Any speculation on who's hands are clasping?

Lol yes and it's far from the first time, Miyano's voiced quite a few extras already. I remember him voicing one of the guys in Reole that was with Hohenheim too.

Rewatched the episode where Mustang blows up Madam Christmas's, and the guy who ran up and revealed that she was his foster mother is quite obviously voiced by Gluttony's seiyu.

So, the end of the 40's episodes marked as well the conclusion to the Pride arc, although he's still hanging with Al trapped within that big dome.

It's strange that since all the Homunculus come from Father some of them have bottled-up feelings or maybe just emotional reactions that weren't pre-programmed by Father at all.

So, the anime has at last transitioned to the "Promised Day" arc which is the last story arc in the manga but still light years away from the last battle.

Kinda wish they kept the original dialogue between Heinkel and Greedling where when Heinkel apolgizes to him for not killing Pride he says, "It's cool, go lick your wounds." I always found that part funny lol.

The "Don't mock my son" line was almost as epic as it was in the manga and it was really neat seeing the making of Hohenheim's dome animated.

I totally agree.
And yeah, I always had difficulty imagining that part but the animation was nice.

Spoiler: To me the best highlight of the episode was watching Hohenheim in action. His reputation lives up to his name and enough to leave both of his sons astonished. Spoiler: Greed not only covets material things but even those that are intangible. Surely, he's greedy and worrying for the sake of his comrade's value as property and not for being friends is his nature. However, he slipped some true concern for Ed and his other properties with almost utmost care. Wrath chose his bride, Madam Bradley, off his own free will and nobody told him to do so, not even Father. Pride was satisfied with being Father's offspring, but Madam Bradley's reckless action to save him from being run over sparked his interest in her. Even though him researching about her came from cold and hard facts, he admitted that living with her as family was fun in spite of playing house. So, the anime has at last transitioned to the "Promised Day" arc which is the last story arc in the manga but still light years away from the last battle.
