ho I just think of a detail (perhaps insignificant or not) but a club must start with 5 members I'm right? them but they could form a club with three members without anyone saying anything to them (oka-san and President Ai-chan)

Well... It has been a while, but I thought I'd chime in.
I kinda like this series when it goes crazy, as it were. But it's daily banter material doesn't make me chuvkle anywhere near as much as, say, Acchi Kocchi. Not bad, but not a great series for me thus far. :-)

Since the clubs do get space and a little funding, odds are there's a "minimum member" rule. Otherwise you'd get some really strange 1 person clubs at schools. So there being that rule isn't surprising.
The rule always requiring finding 1 more member in an anime, however, is just a plot device. |

As far as I know, the 5-person limit is just something to differentiate an "official" club which can participate in school events and actually get a slice of the budget, and an "interest group", which can use the facilities, but doesn't have any leeway with regards to monetary funding or influence.

Yuyushiki 11 - G-g-g-g-g-ghost?
So we begin and end with Aikawa, ever on the outskirts of the chaos going on here. Lots of little tangents this time, with the same interplay I've come to expect from these girls. Perhaps it's because Tsuda and Ookubo have worked together before, but I can really feel the chemistry between them when Yui and Yuzu are arguing with each other. The segments with the "age" and curry puns were also masterfully translated. Making a show like Yuyushiki work in English takes a bit of outside the box thinking, and CR consistently delivers on that front. I'll catch up on the finale after my vacation, but I can say without a doubt that I have loved this show. |

Went through the available 11 episodes in the past few days. I didn't warm up to the show (and the character designs along with it) until episode 5 but everything after that was unadulterated bliss. Love all the characters but Aikawa in particular is a miracle of the universe. Looking forward to the finale.

Hmm, they sure let loose a bit with the soundtrack for the final episode, that was pretty nice. The ending shot was just beautiful. Still hoping for a second season though, these characters are simply love.
We didn't get that much of the Aikawa/Hasegawa/Okino trio for the final episode but we did see new sides to all three. I have to say that Aikawa's moe is a lethal weapon--that short character sequence was brilliant. I also love the minor/sub-relationships between the two groups--I have wonderful delusions about what Yuzuko and Ai-chan's relationship is like. In the end, Rumi Ookubo (Yuzuko)'s voice acting became a huge part of what I liked about this show. Every episode we got treated to some new sweet or fun variation. Yuzuko's isn't usually the character type I have an immediate leaning to, but by the second episode she forcefully won me over with her charm. This anime pretty much singlehandedly carried the spring season for me; for various reasons, I think I pretty much dropped almost every other show I was watching. However, Yuyushiki has just been one of the most enjoyable slice-of-life series I have ever watched. I'm gonna remember this one for sure. (Also great news for fans is that the manga has begun getting scanlated, by our friends over at /u/. 2 chapters are out so far, and I've found that they too are great fun.) |

Yui actually has a sexy body!
Last episode didn't feel a finale but it was good. To my mind it's also one of the best episode animation-wise (beach, toilet scene, Yui on her bed) and it has great layouts. I didn't expect Kazuchika Kise doing some cuts (though he had already drawn a end card) since Yuyushiki isn't the kind of series he would appear. Yuyushiki was sure an enjoyable and refreshing show. I'm hoping for more episodes
