I had the exact same problem using CCE - open it and make sure that the extensions it gives are m2v and mp2, then the script won't have any problems (I think the defaults are mpv and mpa).

I'm having troubles with TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress when I open video with program to start editing/resizing screen turn green an error pop ups "Divided by Zero" I'm sure that was said before not sure where to look anything help would great.

My problem is the same as popoycanton was, when I open the batch file the CCE window open ups and I have to manually click the encode but everytime.

I used your guide to set up Queue for Encoding and I looked through the faq but it didn't help.

I am using the legal trial version of CCE SP and have it set up as your quide and aktees says to.

How do I fix this?

What border settings do I set a fansub of a movie to if I'm converting it for playback on a TV due to myself being epileptic and as a result I tend to watch them on TV instead of PC where possible.

The tool recommended in the first post will do it automatically, so you don't have to worry about that. If you're using something else and just want to know what the recommended settings are, then...

For a 4:3 aspect ratio, try this:

LanczosResize(660,440)
AddBorders(30,20,30,20)

For 16:9 aspect ratio, use this:

LanczosResize(660,330)
AddBorders(30,75,30,75)

I included the resize as well for obvious reasons.

But I'm kind of having some trouble. What if you burned the DVD successfully and would like to watch it on a computer? For me, I want it to play it on Windows Media Player. It does that but it has no audio. It works fine on a DVD player but how would I go getting the DVD to play correctly on WMP?

Just a quick question. I tried using this to convert .mkv files with VORBIS audio. Only problem is the audio it makes is not 48kHz, but 44.1kHz. I tried using the version of BeSweet that I had installed previously, and the same thing happened. All the files it created were all 44.1kHz. The original .ogg files are 44.1kHz also, but I used to be able to create 48kHz audio before, and I don't think anything has changed.

I know it's probably an issue with BeSweet, but was wondering if anyone here might know what the problem is.

Using your method has been working fine but now i'm getting an error message that says

"MPG not file found after multiplexing"

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

It only happens with one file, Twin Spica ep. 13, all the rest have been succesfully encoded.

Hello,

I am trying to encode using the QuEnc program, and it seems when using the VBR method, the audio and video are not synced properly. This happens with both 23.976 and 29.97 fps videos. The original video file is in perfect sync. If I do it without VBR, the audio and video are in sync.

Any ideas why using VBR would make it out of sync?

I'm sure someone has already done something similar, but I thought I'd post this anyway.

For anyone that wants to use this script with .ogm files, I created a simple small batch file for converting all the .ogm files in the specified folder to .mkv using the mkvmerge.exe that is included.

:: Set this to the folder where you have the .ogm files. Do not include the trailing backslash

"%mkvmerge%" -o "%sourcedir%\%%~nx.mkv" "%sourcedir%\%%~nx.ogm"
)

Copy this to a new file and name it what you like. Save the file in the same folder that will be the home for your .ogm files, and presto! Instant .mkv files (well, maybe not instant, but faster than doing it all manually), which are now compatible with the script. It will take all the video, audio and subtitle tracks and insert them into a new .mkv file.

This is a quick and dirty batch file, but it works just fine for me. It is probably possible to include this in the script itself, so it will automatically convert the .ogm file to .mkv before it scans it.

Shouldn't have had to change anything other than the variables. I know it worked fine for me when I tried it the way it was.

I'm trying to add it into the main source, so it will convert .ogm files automatically when you try to add them. I have it partially done, but not sure about the cpu load of doing multiple conversions simultaneously.

I use Nero Vision to burn my animes on DVD or CD..... it encodes the videos and convert them, allowing you to watch it on a DVD player :P
