Although I can't for the life of me think of one single reason to build that gaudy hunk of junk instead of the original Freedom . |

How about a PG ball? One as big as the size of a basketball would be pretty cool, you can probably put a 1/144 kit in there to pilot it lol.....
Okay, so I just did a straight built of the MG Aile Strike and boy was I amazed at how articulate the kit is! My last MG was a Amuro's Zeta Plus and its range of movements are nothing compared to the strike, and the strike is not even the newest kit. Dang.... |

This one is really nicely done. Still, I prefer Freedom's simple but yet still cool design over flashy Strike Freedom which is just pure cheapness in my eyes. Maybe it's the bad impression that it left after Destiny to me, but I prefer the old version soo much better.

As for Freedom, I judge mostly through backpacks. The bodies are similar enough for me to just leave it be as long as the basic design is similar. Still, the gilded hands and joints... Yuck! But it's just me. I'm just badly attituded towards Strike Freedom |

See that's the problem, it's a modded design; thus it's no longer SF, it's a custom model.
The Bee-Craft MG lineart isn't all that horrible, but it doesn't have the official colour scheme on it, either. And the head is also terrible. Freedom was much more of a delight to see in animation in SEED than SF was in Destiny (*yawn* is it over now? Oh it is. I like how he fought against insurmountable odds and had a great epic final ba- oh wait a second...), and thus it's nicer to build . Much like my RX-78-2 ver. Ka isn't a "real" RX-78-2 (oh those lovely clean lines and that four-nozzle backpack), despite it looking nicer than the old MG 1.5 . Quote:

im not quite sure what you mean by that. if youre asking if they come with the actual drive that can be taken out of the unit then no, but if youre talking about the back like the cone drive then yes it comes with the 2nd gen type and the exia cone type.

Hi guys. I searched the rules and there appears to be nothing saying that I can't sell items in the forum. If this is against a rule that I have missed, please feel free to delete.
I'm selling two unmade MG models, Destiny (nonfull burst) and Turn A gundam. Asking 35$ for destiny and 28$ for TurnA. I live in Vancouver, BC Canada. Prefer to deal locally but will ship if you'll pay for shipping. I also have some other stuff that may or may not interest you, please check it out if you will =) http://www.japanhero.com/forums/inde...showtopic=7444 Inquiries at endiro (at) gmail.com < replace (at) with @, no spaces Last edited by Subarunyon; 2008-08-11 at 06:04. |
