@ Senpai - That's exactly why I want to show the girls making an effort and not just doing it when Ichika's around them. Notice the girls seem to be at each other's throats when Ichika's not there and they're making plans. Here, Cecilia and Rin get along and actually admit that if either of them get Ichika there will be no hard feelings because he made his choice.

Ichika's also not the only one who solves problems. Irish helps deal with Charlotte's crippling fear of her father, Ichika helps her realize that he'll help her no matter and Laura helps her by saying she's going to be her friend even if her father comes after her. Basically, it's to show them being more of a Nakama as the story goes on.

Ran being indifferent/cold to him makes more sense so I'll use that She doesn't fall in love at first sight here, she thinks she has to depend on herself ever since her dad died and Ichika helping her and telling her that she can ask for his help anytime she needs it is what sparks her attraction instead of "OMG, He looks so cool!"

EDIT: Okay, backing away from the rom-com and into more serious material. If an eye gets slashed, would it be able to recover assuming it was slashed and not stabbed through?

I have this weird idea and I'm not sure what to do with it, but what if the IS could only be controlled by, no not just girls, but certain people with psionic abilities, useless out side of the suit, but the IS somehow brings out their powers, kinda like espers, but for the IS.

Do you know the withdrawal effects of painkillers apart from just vomiting, shivering and some shakiness? I want to be accurate but different websites have different effects and it's confusing me

Of course they can be different, each painkiller has their own side effect, you have to be specific.

@ Senpai - Pills mostly. Morphine is useful but can be difficult to use and kill you if you keep using it.

“I noticed that the bulk of the Vanguard Unit was dedicated to the thrusters’ engines while the Pitones are directly plugged onto the Iwaki Unit so yeah… Got rid of the bulk.”

“Nice. And you brought the extra thrusters into the legs…”

“Yeap! Tsurugi, would you like to try them out?”

Tsurugi, who was obliviously moving her limbs about, turns towards Jinrai upon hearing his suggestion.

“Try what out, Jinrai-san?”

“Flying.”

Inami looks at Jinrai with a surprised expression, doubting that Tsurugi would be able to handle the flight system.

“Eh? But Jinrai-san, she hasn’t gone through any traini—”

“It’s all right, Ina-kun. I’m not afraid of heights!” She dismisses his concerns.

“Well… What I meant was—”

“No worries, Inami. The Minerva Kai’s improved inertia nullifier system would negate any effect of high-speed flights on the pilot, she’ll be fine.”

“I suppose that’s all right then. Tsu-chan, fire them up!”

“Okay!”

The series of thrusters on the Minerva’s legs quickly hums loud, letting out a constant boost which slowly brings the Minerva to hover a few feet off the ground.

“Woaah!”

Despite the sudden lift, Tsurugi quickly achieves balance while hovering.

“This is… wow. I just… Can I go for a round?”

“Sure! Just take it slow and steady.” Inami approves.

She then amplifies the thrust power, steadily accelerating as she ascends.

She begins to move her legs to adjust the thrusters’ direction, promptly performing a short series of basic turns and barrel rolls.

“I think I’m getting the hang of it, Ina-kun!”

“Nice! That’s how you fly in the Minerva!”

Within the Minerva Kai’s helmet, Tsurugi cheerily smiles at his remark while decreasing the thrusters’ power as she brings herself to hover, then slowly lands next to him.

“Great work, Tsu-chan!” He praises her performance as parts of the Minerva Kai shift, reverting itself back into Fold form.

Upon stepping off the battle-armor, the ever-energetic Tsurugi throws herself onto Inami, hugging him out of joy.

“Woah there!” He exclaims at her expression while putting his arms around her.

“That was great, Ina-kun! Thank you so much!”

“Hey, no problem! You really pick up fast, I’m very impressed!”

Tsurugi beams at him then turns to look at Jinrai.

“Jinrai-san, the Minerva’s great!”

“It handles like a charm, doesn’t it?”

“Yeah!”

“Still, all that action must’ve been taxing. Shall we all go take a break somewhere, Jinrai-san?” Inami offers as the couple releases their hold on each other.

“Sure thing! But we’ll need to hide the Minerva first.”

“I’ll handle that. Where do we meet?”

“Futatsui-machi is pretty near… Would the railway station be an ideal place to meet up?”

“Sounds good. Also, I’m gonna take a detour and refuel my car… why don’t you bring Tsurugi with you, Inami?”

“You want me to fly while carrying her?”

“Of course! I’ll see you guys at the station!” Jinrai answers as then makes his way towards his car that’s parked nearby.

“Okay, Jinrai-san! Ina-kun, shall we?”

“You have no issues with that?” Inami bluntly asks.

“Of course not, silly. We’ll get to go sightseeing along the way… from the sky!” She exclaims with anticipation.

“Well okay then.” Inami replies then proceeds to suit up in the Minerva Kai.

He then sweeps her off her feet, holding her in his arms like a princess.

“Hold on tight, Tsu-chan.”

“Okay!”

Powering up the thrusters, the Minerva Kai slowly ascends as Tsurugi keeps her firm hold.

“Off we go!” He claims as the thrusters hum loudly, accelerating the Minerva Kai as the couple head for Futatsui.

@ Senpai - Eh? I thought hospitals only used one kind? In media people tend to grab white bottles and just label them as painkillers. The pill's are more for injuries and soreness rather than things like bruises or cuts. Let me look at google to check.

@ Senpai - Nevermind, found a source Along with the aforementioned effects, digestive problems and general sickness are also common. More important question, is it possible to hide these symptoms from people like Kyuukai, Maya, and Tatenashi?

She doesn't have one yet... not even an Uchigane. Not to mention she doesn't have any previous experience in piloting an IS.

The Minerva Kai is all she has at the moment until her enrollment exams, which I planned to be a few days after the scene.
