I don't think "owned" is a good word to use here, as nobody belongs to anybody else. Perhaps... "Usagi is committed to Mamoru." or "Usagi and Mamoru are already in a serious relationship." or something along those lines might be better.

So they belong to each other no good either? Hope not.

Anyway, they're an official couple. Seiya is already rejected so shipping another is pointless....

"They belong together." or "They belong with each other." would be better phrases to use, I'd think.

Personally I never got the big deal with shipping and crack pairings... especially when it involves taking characters out of character in order to do so, whether it's by making straight characters gay, gay characters straight, making everyone bi, or pairing characters that don't know each other/are from different anime/manga/games/shows/forms of media. I honestly don't really care who ends up with who as long as my favorite character is prominent and not taken out of character. ^^;

That art . . . no. Just no. I pray to all of the gods that it won't end up looking like that. Even though she's young Usagi's character and appearance has to be able to invoke a certain grandeur. After all, it's not all about the slice-of-life moe moments.

As long as they keep the odango-atama joke from Mamoru in instead of that stupid 'bakatte nani yo?' from the live action, I'll be ok with the couple. Though if it's going to be a direct adaptation of the manga, I'm really scared they might add that stupid

Spoiler for manga and anime end:

The manga might be darker, but it has a lot more of those inappropriate messages for young girls. Even the live discarded those ideas and made Usagi much more sympathetic, they probably figured by that point that doing that scene would kill the character and the story of the present.

Though if it's going to be a direct adaptation of the manga, I'm really scared they might add that stupid Spoiler for manga and anime end: suicide scene. Serenity doing it was bad enough, but when Usagi did it in the present, I felt really uncomfortable about it. I liked how Usagi in the anime didn't even kiss Mamoru goodbye and went into the final battle, thinking of her friends' sacrifice and how they couldn't say goodbye to their loved ones.
