Everything felt like a badly acted drama - too fast, too false, and almost as if everyone was consciously looking at themselves in the mirror and dramatically watching themselves recite their lines or make poses. Even worse - I was heartily disappointed by almost all the other characters getting wrapped up things and missing the main point which both Ohana and Sui were stressing, although each in their own way. I can't tell you how much I wanted Ohana to slap Minko and even Tohru silly. I will admit, though, that what the ep portrayed in terms of "taking sides" so quickly and ... erm ... acerbically definitely does happen IRL, though. And it is just as painful to see when it does happen, when one realizes one has been participating on the nasty side of things, and especially when one is one the receiving end. Quote:
