Let's hope they still surprise us and still somehow put liberal arts city in there or use the annoucement in dengeki next month to announce liberal arts city arc ova. It seems really weird that they wouldn't put in LAC now... but who knows? The anime-original arc also isn't necessarily worse than LAC anyhow... but it feels weird they won't have it this season...

Apparently they're planning to shove as many cute traits into her as inhumanly possible. No seriously, that was what the producer said.

Now the normal reaction would be to roll my eyes like you did but then it got me thinking... Kamachi being Kamachi... What if she was another candidate of Agitate Halation?

That would be awesome but I really doubt Kamachi had anything at all to do with her character.

I am sure it's not going to be that bad, it's Kamachi himself who makes this stories.
He even mentioned, that during whole Railgun he was helping them by sending his ideas and comments.

I know it's JCStaff who has the last word on it, so it might have been some
scantily clad amazon warrior giving battle shouts as she swings her ancient sword,
before JCStaff turned it into
cutely dressed young girl with speech overflowing with cuteness swinging her lolipop
But I am sure they would not butcher the story and left it intact.

Oh I'll watch the story sure, if only because it might foreshadow some future Railgun manga stories a bit (like how the Terstina arc introduced Kihara Gensei). I'm just really not looking forward to the meaningless-cute-fanservice scenes. I'll probably just skip those and watch only the good bits.

TBH I barely even consider the Railgun anime canon in the first place so it's not like it really matters, I'm just bitter. Especially since we now know the group that makes Railgun can do really good stories they just prefer not to (probably because empty-fanservice sells better).

Just ignore me if you like it.

With all that mention of Liberal Arts City they've gone out of their way to add in into some of the earlier episodes (they did not mention it in the manga), it'll be very weird if we don't see an OVA of it at the very least. Especially if viewed in addition to the fact that we have Xochitl appearing in the current manga arc, and she obviously recognized Ruiko - which doesn't make sense if one doesn't know about LAC.

But I'll manage... I-I'll probably enjoy another cutesy ditsy girl over wing--no for Christ's sake, I won't. But I'll still watch it! AND ENJOY IT! *cries loyal fan-tears*
