They seem to be playing around with some different styles for the high action scenes. Oh, and Yuuko sheds blood and causes a girl to cry in this episode.
After watching 9, I feel like this is a series I would have enjoyed a lot even in middle or high school before I sunk into the wretched depths of otakuism. I'm going to dig up my Azumanga Daioh DVDs now. |

Eat, for as Hirasawa said, the strawberry is the soul of the cake. A shogi tile is not a soul. Or edible. But it is responsible for starting a religion.
Eat, but be careful of what you order on the menu. Be considerate of the staff. Eat, for mosquitoes desire blood, but to blood they shall return by human hands. ("Man" is the answer.) Or robot hands, as the case may be. Eat, but not all at once. A winner becomes a loser when turned around. Eat, but advertise in a way that doesn't get you arrested. Learn how to jump rope instead. You are what you eat. |

Yuuko's battle against the evil mosquitoes was the most interesting scene for me this week. Ending up being defeated by her mother.
The daifuku-kun scene was a little amusing as well. That pretty much sums up the job of anyone who works as a mascot. Scaring younger kids, taking abuse from others and being held at gunpoint by the police for suspicious actions. Hakase's such a little brat. It kind of makes me wonder though that if she out of her own choice created and programmed Nano to be a responsible mother/sister-figure, why does she keep being one? Kids will be kids I guess. It's still not as laugh-out-loud as the first couple episodes have been though, not really sure why as things don't really seem to have changed much.
