hmm cant wait for full chapter (be it raw or scanlation) but from what I can read means that they are going back to the school

it kinda makes the manga go a full cycle... first tsukune goes on the bus to the school alone and scared..... now he stands in front of a choice go or stay... and willingly choices to go but with full confidence and with no scare and there he meets all his friends on the bus waiting for him (not alone this time)

I seriously suspected it will end up like this... doing full cycle and going back to school with his friends but I wonder where akua is (not mention I wonder if we will see Issa)

Perhaps the purpose of the rosario was to collect good memories for Akasha, and once she received them through the direct contact, it awoke Akasha and give her a power-up powerful enough to not only take over Alucard's body forcing Miyabe to give up control, but to initiate a self destruct sequence that destroyed Alucard once and for all. But being merged with Alucard Akasha had to destroy herself along with him, but got to go out happy because she knows her protege Moka is going to live, and be happy. Probably something she's wanted all along, and gained an unofficial, but good son-in-law to boot.

But, trouble still lurks in the shadows with Kuyou, who is carrying Kahlua(whom may or may not be 'all dead'), and Kiriya carrying Hokuto. What do those two plan to do now?

Though this still leaves open what will happen when Tsukune goes back home to his family and Kyouko, and how they will react to the events (if the media got the true story about monster existence), and see Tsukune had grown in unusual, but probably good ways. Kyouko might take him aside to ask the details and if, and what part Tsukune took in the events.

Tsukune probably won't tell his parents about his transformation into a shinso vampire, but he may have to if they see how Moka looks now compared to how she looked when they last saw her. Things will get kind of complicated in explanations, but hopefully they still accept it.

-The one who emerged was actually Moko (O), or Moko (O) was Akasha all along like Newhope speculated.
-Tsukune is still a Shinso, and is offered to be Mikogami's successor.
-The bus scene took at same place where they fought Alucard.
-Everyone went back to YA happily.

Dam it, I Still feel this series was axed/ rushed ending. Though I felt it lost its focus when they had the trip to the snow maiden village

Spoiler for final chapter 66-6:

Well, I will wait for the translated chapter, before I will comment on my opinion about this, but judging from what I have seen we are going to get some rushed open ending, where we don't know who he has chosen in the end (unless the current chapter or the one in Jump SQ 19 are going to shed some light on this matter), which is kind of disappointing to me.

I also don't know what to think about the whole Outer Moka = Akasha thing, which seems to be implied from the chapter pics.

At least Tsukune is still a Shinso vampire ... and hadn't magically changed back into a human,and the pics showing Kuyou and Kiria with Hokuto and Kahula, might give some slight hope that there is still going to be some story ahead of us, but I'm not rising my hopes too high.

Oh well, I guess everything is going to end someday, and overall ... taking into consideration the fact that this is Ikeda's first longer manga series, even taking into consideration this rushed ending, I have to say that he did a quite good job writing it.

There's no way this was axed, but agree on the rushed part. There's no concrete evidence that he's ill, so who knows he may have just run out of steam and decided to end it here. It be nice if later down the road there's a sequel, but no holding one's breath...

For the enth time, people. This was the way he intended to end it all along. He said that part 2 would be 12 volumes long, if anything Akihisa slightly miscalculated and dragged it on longer than he initially wanted to.
The statement was left ambiguous on purpose, if you want a straight answer then go pester him on twitter.

Outer Moka was Akasha all along and Tsukune had been pining for Moka's mother from the start? This is seriously awkward, specially when you consider that Akasha technically stole a kiss intended for Moka a few chapters ago.

Also, for all those wanting Akasha to appear, you got your wish... and of course it figures she'd have to go out like that. Shame that unless it actually is revealed, we never knew what happened to Issa. But again, all judgments should wait until RAW and then scan are out. And to explain the Shuffle! ending for those who haven't seen it, we get an established couple, but the other girls are still going for the main guy... I guess technically SAO would qualify for this as well
