Why do you mean to terrify me? These girls are so ugly.
I think that maybe in HEAVEN I will meet Rin or Saber and we will be happy together Now, it isn't possible that anyone can look as gorgeous as any character in anime, why do they try? Do they want to terrify me? |

You mean you actually think the Yuki cosplayer is ugly???
Ok Haruhi is not the best I've seen but the girl knows how to pose (sexy ) and she might be prettier face to face (not that she's UGLY in the pics).

I have no idea how many cosplayers you have seen so far, but rest assured, just like how you can walk past pretty girls( or boys, if you prefer) on the way to work, you can find pretty cosplayers if you look enough. That said, people cosplay for a variety of reasons, and not just because they want to look pretty. For some, it is a way to declare their love for an anime, especially if said anime is not mainstream. These fans cosplay to spread the word and entice new watchers and fans for their beloved anime. You can practically find Naruto/Bleach cosplayers everywhere, but to find... say... Mahoromatic cosplayers. Now that, is not a common sight. Quite frankly, unless the costume was outstandingly done, I am usually quite 'Meh' over Naruto/Bleach cosplayers. I tend to take more notice of the lesser-known anime cosplayers, such as a certain Souseiseki cosplayer in a recent cosplay contest here. I was like, "Woah! Souseiseki! Cool." Then there is the theme concept. When groups go to an anime convention, they may decide to go with an anime theme and dress up as a collective. Seeing a Haruhi cosplayer on her own is cool enough, but to see a complete SOS-dan would be extremely cool( if they are competently dressed up that is). This is just the tip of the iceberg. Basically, while it is perfectly understandable to want to fawn over perfect beings of beauty, there are other reasons to admire cosplayers for. Unless you are Man-Faye. In which case, for the love of my retinas, get away from me. Cheers.
