It's not only a clear indication of growing closer, but was also maybe a surprise that it came from Airi who acted the most "hostile"(not the most fitting adjective) towards Shingo at the start. So this rather simple detail of leaving out the suffix happened additionally in a quite short time span, I guess. In most fiction you have seldomly this step-by-step change and in case of the overfriendly type of girl they offer first-name-basis, +/- suffix, from the beginning without the lover-like indication to it (at first). It depends on what kind of overall mood the anime/manga/Visual Novel or the character itself wants to set.
It would certainly be interesting to see their reaction, if the two reached first-name-basis .

Yeah, I recognized it right away when I heard it. My first reaction was, "why did they translate it as master when she just asked him to be her husband?"

I like the story so far. It is a nice, relaxing change of pace series for all the excitement this season has brought with its many action packed shows.

EroKing can see the ending

About the series, it's been a nice watch so far. Someone compared it to Fortune Arterial on this thread some time ago, glad it wasn't anything like that.

suddenly....sena is a vampire!

I need more calm watches like this, I ran most of the past series like this dry.

For every 1 Mirai Nikki you watch, You need 4 slice-of-life or 3 moe anime

I'm glued to this, I've seen every episode at least 4 times, and I kind of like how it airs on thursday. My 3rd favorite this season. Harem ftw?

all my favoritekinds of shows and manga are always complete contrasts of each other, its kinda weird. I have been lacking in slice of life lately though!

Unless you have a very restrict sense of what is considered SOL, I thought this year was full of slow pace, easy to follow series

Well, to be fair, this show isn't really a "slice of life" show. It's a romantic drama; it revolves around a central triggering event and has a developing plot that will result in a defined conclusion. That being said, it probably is the Japanese call "iyashikei" -- a "healing" anime, due to the calming, heartwarming tone of most of the episodes. Slice of life shows aren't the only ones that can be heartwarming.

Yes, I really wouldn't call this slice of life as it has very little in common with said genre aside from occurring in a semi-realistic setting (but if that was all it took to make a slice of life/sitcom, then every semi-non-fictitious show would be slice of life). The focus is different, there is an overall plot and arching subplots, and there are heavy underlying themes, motifs, and allusions in all of this. Its a fiction drama, slow and steady, that warms the heart because it doesn't set out to be thrilling, or cunning, but just simple and plain in its intentions to tell a story.

I know that, I'm not saying this is a Slice-of-Life show, I'm just saying that it shouldn't be hard for one to find these kinds of relaxing Anime this year

For those kinds of shows, it's better to only have 1 cour per season- Too long and it'll feel draggy... Like Hanasaku...

As for the drama in Romance-dramas: I am glad that there hasn't been any ("heavy") drama yet in the first five episodes. There are hints that it may start à la the uncertainty of Miu's kitty club future based on the dialogue of the school head and Miu, but other than that it has fortunately (for me at least) been calm. The inital heavy atmosphere with Airi was cleared and Ange's temporary down-feeling was resolved as well. This technically leaves only Sakuno and Miu for the inital drama phase to be "completed" .

Drama may come from Sena living alone corner. So far the show is easily one of favourites of mine this season. All the small touches and Sena cuteness mode are golden! I'm afraid it will be overlooked same as Hoshizora Hashi.

Hoshizora was overlooked for it's weak story and character development and odd choice as the ending girl. Oddly enough i knew from the start that the hoshizora anime was doomed because i played the VN before the anime, i knew that none of the heroine's story stood out enough for an anime.

These days gal-game VN adaptations just aren't as popular anymore... Except maybe anything from Key.
