That is a great shot but again "too close up" not much will fit into a 25x120 pixel range even after resizing... The most I'll get in is an eye or his nose/mouth or the other eye...

The Haruhi-blitz continues...

According to anime blog Heisei Democracy Haruhi Vol. 1 novels are selling out all over Akiba... Looking at the article it links at Akiba Blog shows that Haruhi is ranked No. 1 on Fuji-TV.

I'm glad I got the 1st 7 novels already... though I'm now wondering if I should go pre-order the 8th immediately

No surprise, Light Novels seem to be the "in" this year.

Heck, even 小学館 is going to open a(two) Light Novel divisions next year.

Ok their names are a bit...(Gagaga and Lululu), but it shows you how much the market has open up.

I couldn't be happier ^_^.

Edit- You should preorder Or not, because I may not get my copy before you (I may actually buy the Japanese volumes from now on if this goes on...).

I have a contact in Taiwan that as we speak, is scouring brick-and-mortar book stores in search of Suzumiya Haruhi for me. I in the meantime practically lives in this subforum. The power of Haruhi compels you!

(now that's out of the way...)

Could we talk more about the "Haruhi Marble"? The discussion might be better to take place in the ontology thread...

I pre-ordered mine months ago, heck, I'm even buying The Sneaker regularly just to catch up to the latest chapters (+ nice Haruhi gimmicks that comes with the mag ^^; ).

The next thing I'll probably do is buy all the 学校を出よう volumes (another light novel series by Tanigawa Nagaru written at the same time along with the Suzumiya Haruhi series), I've heard good things about it (many fans who read it said they liked it more than Haruhi). It's funny to read comments like this or this where someone bashes on the novel at first for being not as good as "Suzumiya Haruhi", but after 4 volumes, they're screaming praises in BOLD. ^^;

=/ Lucky, I can't get a hold of my cousin in HK so no luck on the novels except through yesasia.

And don't start with "Haruhi Marble" again lol, you don't know how much I want to break from studying exams to quickly learn how to make .gifs just so that "Unlimited Bat Works" can take form

(Time to pull a Steve Job... or did Steve Job pull a '12 labours' ... I love inferences.)

Anyway, from what I've gathered the Chinese version goes up to vol.5 (soon to be 6) and it has been no trivial matter to obtain them for me...

and lookie this (by courtasy of Maid!^3)! Shirobane... "Unlimited Bat work" XD

Hey everyone i havent posted in this haruhi subforum yet, but ive been a fanatic haruhist since the show started.

i guess at omnipotent as she is, there still some things that shes not really good at, like drawing lol (pointing to the sketches she did for the website).

I've read the translated novels, but im still thinking of buying the novels myself. Anyone knows which countries sell the novels or if the novels are sold in singapore?

Hiya, my fellow brethren!
We welcome you with open arms! (provided you're an alien, time traveller, planeswalker or an esper)

LoL. Just kidding.

Singapore eh? If you can read Chinese than you're in luck.
The novels are translated into Chinese by 台灣角川書店
http://www.walkersnet.com.tw/fiction...-D48A5F082AA6}
Just print out that page and go to the nearest Comics Connection to order from them.

If you're not a member, they can be quite expensive.
Member price is about SG$13 per novel, which is still quite costly.

I ordered the first 5 volumes, hopefully they arrive this week. :x
