He gradually have had a good impression for Euphie's death which change his mind in those have antipathy for Suzaku.

Well, Suzaku fights against Zero/Lelouch, who has a whole army of fans. So I guess it unfortunately can't be helped.

People don't hate Suzaku just because he is against Lelouch, they hate him because he is a hypocrite hiding behind pretty ideals and forcing his views on others.

Hell, Athrun fought against Kira in Gundam Seed but both of them have legions of raving fans.

Suzaku has faults. Lelouch has faults. Some of us like to think that neither is "better" than the other.

I think the thing that irritates some about Suzaku is that he talks about wanting to help people, but is really only interested in becoming a martyr to make himself feel better. And this is the truth about how he was in season 1.

Ehh... I can make a similar argument against Lelouch on similar grounds which is the whole thing that bugs me when dealing with those that hate Suzaku but hold Lelouch on some pedestal of superior morality. Does he REALLY want to help restore Japan, or is he only doing this to destroy the Royal Family because he is angry his mother was killed and is only using this to get to that goal. Also, didn't he want to be a martyr when Euphie set up the SAZ just cause HIS plans were ruined? If anything Lelouch is MORE selfish than Suzaku or at least just as.

So I don't get it at all. If someone is going to bash one character because of being a hypocrite and hiding behind beliefs, then they should hate both of them and not just one.

It truly was his main goal though. Helping people for real may have been a small part of it, but it wasn't the main goal at all really.

He isn't only interested in that anymore, he said he wanted to become the knight of one to help japan, I don't hate Suzaku in season 2 as much as I did in season 1 anymore

However, I really doubt he'll become the knight of one with only 14-15 epispdes left.

Except this was confirmed by the staff about Suzaku. And I don't hate Suzaku either. His season 1 form annoys me is all. And yes, Lelouch does want to restore Japan. And his main goal is to create a peaceful world for his sister which is something people seem to forget sometimes.

He did, but if you watched the episode you would see he abandoned that plan.

And Lelouch is at least honest about his actions being evil at times. He's acknowledged that several times unlike Suzaku. That's been a reason I have seen for people being less critical on him.
