Alright, I pulled all stops yesterday and managed to get to chapter...what was it? 12? Anyways, the battle is now on Valhalla. Oh, and it seems I managed to get on ShanaKei's route (btw Kei was surprisingly very, very, very cute!). Speaking of routes, I'd like to ask: How many routes are there, and how many chapters are each of them in general?

Holy shit, the passages get more and more difficult to understand. Not that hard to read, but it spins all over the place so it's hard to keep track of what's going on. The sudden jumps in perspective doesn't help either. Also, it sometimes break the 4th wall

I have something similar in thought just from the current route. Lusalca even practically died off screen, the poor girl .

Shirou is just utter nonsense. He can't really be just a Badass Normal, right? Seems like he also has some sort of precognition like Ren and the two enemy top brass...

And Ren has Za Warudo. It's quite amazing how a boring way of life translates to a cheat power, though it seems it's still not strong enough. And where the hell did Marie gone to anyways?

Speaking of which, this souzou heavily resembles Reality Marble. At this point, I must ask. Who's being inspired by whom between Nasu and Masada anyways?

And Reinhard's plans seems like nonsense, but...is it really? I guess it depends on perspective, but I actually can see his actions as "merciful" if the world's 'law' is really as bad as he seems to suggest. Though I guess one can also say it's just trading one prison to another. Speaking of which, doesn't this mean that all the fallen Black Round Table will eventually reappear? does every single soul actually holds their own or are they a merged pile of chaos until Reinhard summons them? Does it even matter whether you're alive or dead by the end of the 'war'?

Well, the other name of that route is "Machina route".

Reinhard's world isn't as bad as one'd think. Especially you listen to the drama CDs involve the life in Valhalla. It is actually a world full of gag. Reinhard himself is a pretty gag like character in his everyday life.
Just his world is unproductive as hell, and you have to put up with Reinhard's screwed up conception of love.

As for how Reinhard's legion works.... well, they do keep their individuality thanks to Legion Reincarnation. But if they are ever destroyed by their enemies, they return to the pool of chaos that is Valhalla, until they are "repaired" by Reinhard or Isaac.

I assume you skipped Kasumi's route ?

It's actually somewhat confusing if you play Kei's first before Kasumi. Oh and you can't access Marie's route (which is required for accessing Rea's route) before clearing Kasumi and Kei. Each route have 13 chapters.

Regarding Reinhard's plans, yes all of those whose soul engulfed by him will join Valhalla (including LDO members). What he plans to do is basically overwriting the world's law with Valhalla. And yeah if Reinhard finally succeed, it doesn't even matter if you are dead or alive by the end of war. In the Valhalla, the concept of "dead" itself is removed by him so everybody can be resurrected forever.

Regarding the origin of all of this plan, I think you will need to wait until you finished Marie and Rea's route in order to fully grasp the whole grand scheme of all of these.

Three Colors here are referring to the final battle of the Three Gods, I believe. Not the three captains.

Oh and it's just a branch of Rea's route in the end (only slight difference)

Was Mercurius bluffing when he implied that Rea died when he shattered the swastikas? or was there some other reason why she's not dead?

Actually, can you guys please give me questions about the important things so I can attempt to explain it and see if I actually get at least the idea right.

Yes, but not exacly Babylon. Babylon is just a title for Liza because of her past. As of why Kasumi can do that, this is precisely the reason why Kasumi route is better to be cleared first. She did pay the price, but originally she have the capability of doing that due to the reason. You can find this in Kasumi's route and the true origin of her family later in Rea's route.

What are the Swastikas for first of all? And also....What is the role of Zonnenkind? These two should be the focus for now.

The Swastikas are...anchors? Seems like there was a connection between them and Reinhard's powers. It was the vital difference that allowed the protagonists to escape from being wiped out after all.
And Zonnenkind is like...the pipe? The narrative says it's more like the "core" but my understanding is that Zonnenkind is the link between Reinhard and the souls bound to the swastikas.
