Sorry about the all-to-frequent posts with little content. I just wanted to ask if any of your posts on your Darth-joker account have more content then is posted on that website. I am asking because this thread only had 3 chapters under Darth-jokers account.

Anime Suki forums have perfect formatting for this type of story, due to how it handles spoilers. Spoiler spaces became an incredibly convenient way for me to write multiple branches into the same chapter - I simply divide the branches between two or more different spoiler spaces.

fan fiction. net's site doesn't have anything like that, and so I decided not to put the full PPPL fanfic up there. I knew that Chapter 6 in particular would be a massive headache to try to format to use on another site, so the full fanfic to date can only be found here.

Don't worry, everything I've wrote for PPPL is here on this thread, with the exception of H-Scenes (those I send by PMs, if you want to read them).

I decided I should be fair, and make OPs for "Mami Romance", and "Mami Lives, Homura Romance" as well.

For Mami Romance, I used the OP song for Love Live! I also borrowed a bit from this Madoka Magica MAD. .

For Homura Romance, I used the OP song for Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA. To try to visually capture "Puella Magi Hitomi Shizuki", I used clips of Luna Tsukuyomi from Gen'ei (Day Break Illusion).

Watching these two OPs should make it crystal clear which anime/game characters inspired a couple key witches, lol.

I really hope people enjoy these sort of make-believe OPs for an anime version of PPPL.

not only longer, but also more polished, once I release the new version just play it by side with the old version and you will be surprised by all the improvements I have made.

the VN under active development now so it won't be long.

Hey truffle + other awesomenau(gh)ts! I was wondering where you got the footage from PMMM Rebellion? The blu ray isn't out yet(for Australia anyways) and there are no streaming or download links for it with or without subs that I can find. Please help me out here! Btw, do you think Homura lets Mami die in the anime series on purpose to try send Madoka a message or to stop Mami from killing them when she finds out about witches,or to stop Madoka from wishing Mami back alive because of what happens in one of the PSP routes? She must have known Mami was going to trap her like that from previous timelines, or seen it coming and stopped time to dodge it.

I wouldn't have wrote Chapter 6 of this fanfic the way I did if I thought that Homura was fine with letting Mami die.

I think that Homura wanted to save Mami, and that's why she tried to talk Mami into leaving Charlotte to her. It's possible that this was the first time that Homura tried to save Mami from Charlotte, and/or this was the first time Homura tried this where it resulted in Mami trying her up. So it's possible that Homura didn't know that Mami was going to do that.

Homura's face has a slight look of surprise on it in the scene that Mami ties her up. So I don't think that Homura saw that coming, and I definitely think that Homura wanted to save Mami.

But while I think that Homura is kindhearted enough to want to save Mami, I also think she's pragmatic and firm enough to use Mami's death to try to discourage Madoka and Sayaka from becoming Puella Magi. I think Homura has a reasonably kind heart, but she's not a bleeding heart (thankfully, imo).

However, I'll admit this is all debatable. I think that Homura's character is open to different interpretations.

In the last few months, PPPL has gained some new readers, but alas, there is not much new content to offer as I've been facing a writer's block for awhile now.

So, I thought it might be a good idea to share some information that regular readers might find interesting. This was information I was originally only going to share once the full fanfic/VN was done, but since that's probably going to be quite a way's off, I figured it might be nice to share it now.

When writing PPPL, I bounced a lot of ideas off of Kogetsu Shirogane, Kimidori, and others, in private conversations. Some ideas ended up "on the cutting room floor", as they say. And probably for good reason.

Keep that in mind if you think these ides are really bad/overly wild, because ultimately, I thought so myself, lol. Still, people might find these ideas funny or entertaining at least, so I'm now going to share the plot ideas that never made it in.

The main one was an OC called...

Morning Lescue!

I needed a non-Grief Seed-based means of Soul Gem cleansing in order to ensure your classic romance route happy ending. I eventually settled on sexual intercourse between two Puella Magi doing the trick. If people thought that idea was cheesy, and/or convenient, trust me, it could have been worse.

I conceived of a character named Morning Lescue, a shoutout to the famous commercial that aired during Madoka Magica episodes back in 2011, and also a pun on how "Morning Rescue" actually sounds to English ears.

Morning Lescue would be a superhero-esque being, who took it upon himself to save Puella Magi as they once saved him as an orphaned child, and raised him to adulthood. Since he was saved/raised by two lesbian Puella Magi, he would focus strictly on lesbian Puella Magi in his "Rescue" operations. Hence "Rescue" turns into "Lescue".

So if/when a Puella Magi lesbian couple is achieved, he shows up to give them orange Soul Gem-cleansing drinks, free of charge!

To make him seem a little less out of place, I was considering using him for flashy action scenes, such as against Emperor Jinnai or one of the nastier OC witches.

Looking back on it now, this idea was horribly cheesy, and I'm glad Kimidori (IIRC) talked me out of it. It came very close to being put into PPPL. So close that I even had a theme song created for him (a mix of Morning Rescue commercial jingles with one of the OSTs for PMMM), and got Kogetsu Shirogane's help in creating this...

But Morning Lescue probably wasn't my wildest idea. No, my wildest idea was what I'm going to share now.

Back around Mami Lives Chapter 4, I made a decision that I wanted to have a "Nice Boat" ending in one of the routes, partly for my own amusement, but also for regular reader and huge School Days fan Dr. Casey.

I could think of two ways of achieving this. The one I went with is now part of the Mami Romance route. Believe it or not, that was the less controversial option. The other option, that I did seriously consider but never went with, was going to be in the Sayaka Romance route.

There was two bits of reader feedback playing into this. People thinking that Homura would be pissed at how her rescuing of Mami would so quickly lead into a Madoka/Mami romance, and people feeling guilty at "leading Mami on" only to choose Sayaka in Sayaka romance route. So I had two "love triangle ideas" ready: Mami/Madoka/Homura (the one that happened) and Mami/Madoka/Sayaka (the one that didn't happen).

This was how Mami/Madoka/Sayaka was going to play out...

So there you go, some behind-the-scenes info on PPPL. I hope readers found these ideas funny and/or entertaining to read about, at least.

First off, I wanna give my opinion on Morning Lescue and sexual purification. The Morning Lescue idea, I have to admit, is pretty funny. Even though I love the idea of sexual purification, and it technically should work, if you swapped it with the Morning Lescue idea it would bring a smile to my face. That being said, I doubt that the majority of people would like that idea, and think that it is too dumb.

Now, onto the love triangle. First off, unless you read ahead, I see no reason not to make the bento. You should make it so that you choose to go to Mami or make the bento. This would work if you got Mami to emphasise that this is very important, and made it so if you go to Mami's and hear the confession, you cannot go as deeply in love with Sayaka because you didn't make the bento, but to make some other way to get further with Sayaka, but make it less effective then the bento. Also, because you are creating so many love triangles, you should totally make a harem route just for funzies.

That's just my opinion, hope you like it, and good luck in getting rid of that writers block !

There's an ending where Madoka ends up basically sleeping with all but one of the main cast, if that counts for anything. It's even classed as a happy ending if you don't consider polygamy to be something preventing one of those.

Instead she only makes that offer in the next chapter depending on the choice you made (given how Madoka felt guilty for doubting Sayaka). The following Choice was going to be... Choice SX: A) Make a bento for Sayaka B) Don't make a bento for Sayaka If you make a bento for Sayaka, then that leads you down a safe path of continued romantic bliss, as it leads to Sayaka and you going shopping together (just as what happened in the Sayaka route as is). But if you don't make a bento for Sayaka, then nothing bad happens right away, but Sayaka decides to catch up on her homework instead of going shopping with you. This leads to Mami calling you on your cellphone, and saying she'd like to meet you after school at her place. She says there's something important she wants to talk to you about. It should be noted that for this plot idea, Sayaka has not yet told Mami about the romantic relationship that her and Madoka are now in. Anyway, Madoka agrees to Mami's request, and goes to Mami's place. At her place, Mami romantically confesses to you! You then have another choice: A) "I'm sorry, Mami, but I'm already going out with Sayaka." B) "Ok, Mami, I happily accept your confession!" A) is the safe choice, though it does wound Mami's heart for a time. B) is the choice that leads you down a dangerous path... Mami is overjoyed at you accepting her confession, and suggests that to celebrate that you, her, and Sayaka should all go to a Karaoke place tomorrow after school. Mami tells you what her favorite song is, and asks you to sing it for her tomorrow. You agree to that. The next day at school... Sayaka rushes up to you and tells you about this cool new Karaoke spot in town. She said she was just talking to Mami earlier, and heard about how you and her talked about going with Sayaka to it, and Sayaka says that this is a great idea. Sayaka then says, "But what I'd really like Madoka is if the first song you sing is my favorite romance song..." Sayaka: Can you sing that for me, Madoka when we go to karaoke together? Madoka: Um... well, I... Sayaka: Don't worry! You don't have to sing it great or anything! Madoka: O-Ok. I can sing it Sayaka: Great! Then you go to the karaoke with Sayaka and Mami. They each take turns singing love songs for you, which causes whichever one is sitting to raise eyebrows a bit. Then it's your turn to sing. Choice M vs. S: A) Sing Mami's song B) Sing Sayaka's song I hadn't decided what I'd do if you choose Sayaka's song, but choosing Mami's song sets you up to take a cruise on a nice boat, lol. If you choose Mami's song, then Sayaka gets really upset. Mami is stunned, and asks why that is. Sayaka explains how you and her are now girlfriends. After Sayaka learns that you also accepted Mami's confession, a tearful Sayaka shouts at you for betraying her heart like this. Sayaka then races off in an emotional wreck. Mami is upset as well, and said that before she'll forgive you, that you need to set things right with Sayaka. The next day at school you try to talk with Sayaka, but Sayaka tells you to leave her alone. Sayaka: Haven't you hurt me enough, Madoka! Later on, while eating lunch alone at the usual place she'd be eating at with Madoka, somebody approaches Sayaka.... ???: My dear, I'm deeply saddened by your loss. Sayaka: Who are you? ???: I am a male puella magi, a rare breed I admit. I became that to bring law and order, truth and justice, to the world! And in you, I see such great potential for aiding me in such goals. Unfortunately, you became mixed up with two VERY nasty girls. Sayaka: What do you mean? Emperor Jinnai: Come with me to my Air Vessel in the sky, and I'll show you! Sayaka accepts the offer, and Emporer Jinnai shows her incriminating video... FAKE and doctored incriminating video, but Sayaka can't tell the difference. In the video, Madoka says that she's secretly been in love with Kyousuke Kamijo! Madoka talks about how much she hates Sayaka for stealing Kamijo away from her. In the video, Madoka and Mami plot revenge on Sayaka to get back at her for this. They plot to break Sayaka's heart... This is all completely fake of course, but it's a convincing fake. The video causes Sayaka to snap. Sayaka: How could she be so mean to me?! How could she do that to me after years of being friends with me?! Jinnai: Alas, not all friends are what they appear. I myself had a friend that brutally betrayed me and became my arch-rival! Sayaka (tears streaming from her eyes): How did you deal with that? Jinnai: How else do you deal with evil? I brought justice to it, of course! And so that is what you and I should bring to Madoka and Mami... The next day at school... Madoka finds a surprising letter in her locker. It's from Mami! "I've forgiven you for everything, Madoka!" the letter says, "Let's make up, Ok? I've booked a romantic cruise for us! To get to the cruise vessel, though, you'll need to take a ferry on this small boat at the nearby warf." "Oh, and I have a little gift waiting for you there, sweetie! Hope you like it!" Madoka happily races to the boat after school. Once she gets there, she notices nobody else is on board, but she finds a gift-wrapped box waiting there for her, as promised. Madoka eagerly unwraps the box, and open it to find... Mami's head. Madoka screams and screeches in horror. Kyubey then shows up. "Quick, Madoka, make a wish!" He shouts. "For what?" Madoka asks. "Isn't it obvious?" he replies. "You're right." Madoka answers, "I wish for Mami to come back to life!" Mami then comes back to life. Mami explains to Madoka... "Madoka, you won't believe what happened. Sayaka... Sayaka and a sword..." But before Mami can finish her explanation, the top of the ship is blown off by a powerful blast of energy! Flying above the ship on a giant, flying mechanical beetle are two Puella Magi, and two large mechanical soldiers flanking them. Standing there with malicious grins on their faces are Emporer Jinnai and Sayaka Miki! "Sayaka!" Madoka shouts in angry shock, "What is this madness?!" "That's what I've been meaning to ask you!" Sayaka screams in turn. A dramatic and tearful shouting match ensues. Madoka soon learns that Sayaka has been badly duped! Ah, but having lost Sayaka's trust, there's nothing Madoka can say to it. "Your extreme cruelty would have destroyed me!" Sayaka screams at Madoka, tears streaming from Sayaka's eyes, "You broke my heart... But thankfully, this gallant, heroic man saved me... And that's why I wished for him and I to become King and Queen of the entire world!" "And now I will bring one final act of vengeful justice upon you, Kaname Madoka, and you, Mami Tomoe! For that is what I do to evil!" "Goodbye!" Jinnai cheerfully shouts, as he pushes a button. *BOOM!!!* Madoka Narration: And the last thing I heard, aside from the sound of a large explosion, was the insane shared laughter of Emperor Jinnai and Queen Sayaka... Pros to this scenario: Comprehensive shoutout to School Days Mami head-joke, made even more fitting Delicious villainy on Jinnai's part Highly dramatic with powerful emotions A truly shocking ending Cons to this scenario: I'm 99% certain that Coldlight, and most of my fellow Sayaka fans, would hate it. It does stretch characterization quite a bit. It turns a hero into a clear-cut villain, albeit a somewhat sympathetic one. I hadn't yet thought up the precise wish mechanics for Jinnai being wished King of the World. Ultimately, I felt that the "Nice Boat" ends that I had come up with for Mami Lives would be better overall. So there you go, some behind-the-scenes info on PPPL. Opinions on Morning Lescue and Mado/Saya/Mami First off, I wanna give my opinion on Morning Lescue and sexual purification. The Morning Lescue idea, I have to admit, is pretty funny. Even though I love the idea of sexual purification, and it technically should work, if you swapped it with the Morning Lescue idea it would bring a smile to my face. That being said, I doubt that the majority of people would like that idea, and think that it is too dumb. Now, onto the love triangle. First off, unless you read ahead, I see no reason not to make the bento. You should make it so that you choose to go to Mami or make the bento. This would work if you got Mami to emphasise that this is very important, and made it so if you go to Mami's and hear the confession, you cannot go as deeply in love with Sayaka because you didn't make the bento, but to make some other way to get further with Sayaka, but make it less effective then the bento. Also, because you are creating so many love triangles, you should totally make a harem route just for funzies. That's just my opinion, hope you like it, and good luck in getting rid of that writers block ! __________________
