What's a chapter 0? Does this mean 2 chapters in a row like 565 and 566?

Chapter 0 is a special chapter supposedly detailing Gold Lion Shiki's (star of the new movie being released 12/12/09) involvement with Roger and Whitebeard some 20 years before the story starts. As to what is really in the chapter...well, we will simply have to wait and see...

If you've been to the movie 10 thread, then you'd already know what chapter 0 is about. But just to remind everyone, the chapter will reveal to us the history of the main villain of movie 10, "Gold Lion" Shiki. Supposedly, the chapter will even show Shiki square off against Gold Roger......

Sengoku: It's over.... rather anticlimatic, but.... give it up!!
....Akainu!!
I enjoyed how Sengoku used Akainu as the finishing blow.Let alone those ice and melt combo, he did so much while the other two're just goofing around randomly.....Okay, Aokiji had some important part too but Kizaru was just pathetic. It would be damn cool if Akainu is somewhere above other two in ranks due to his loyalty.

Kizaru's cooperation with amplifying laser into the pacifistas should give him credit at least. Although it was dirty and well played, the war ended pretty quickly since only a few hours have passed. But are there any marines down there with the pirates?
Also, thanks james and marvel ;]

Is chapter 0 gonna be the same length as that of a weekly chapter?

Currently unknown. For all we know, the chapter could be twice/thrice the length of a regular chapter (i.e. a one-shot), or it could be a little 8 page special right after or before the actual chapter (my bet is on the 8-page special...but I am in the minority on this issue).

With this, I guess we can say WG played all their cards.

Now, I recall a scene from the past, where Going Merry appeared out of nowhere to save the pirates. I don't think we will get to see something exactly the same, but if all the ice is melting under them, then with all these devil fruit users, they will need someone to help them. Jinbei or a new fishmen/mermen group coming from the mermen island. That would be interesting, seeing them not in their island but in this battle scene.

In any case, with all possible scenarios, we may not even be close to the end yet.

I assure you the war isn't over yet. You really think this is how Whitebeard will meet his end? That's rather anticlimactic.

I have a quick question, Is the cover page image of Franky just one of the many images of the cast, or is it a continuation of his story? I only ask because I am unsure if it is snow or rain falling on the window behind Franky (and if it is snow, does that mean it is a current image dedicated to Franky's story).

I believe it is just one of the many images of the cast. There is no caption/title for the image like all of the other cover stories.

It's just a generic traditional Japanese winter time image.
Crawl inside a kotatsu like a snail and eat mikan (Japanese sweet oranges).

I understand that, and it is what I thought the image was supposed to be, but I was thrown by the simple fact that the last time we saw Franky he was surrounded by snow. So, I was unclear if the image was supposed to connect to his mini-story in anyway, or if they are entirely separate.

In other words, the image can still retain its cultural familiarity while at the same time still occurring on Karakuri Island. But, what Blackbeard D. Kuma says makes sense, though, so I expect this is just one of the many stand-alone images.

From the WG's point of view, I think making Sengoku fight would be equal to admitting their failure. I would also like to see that, but, it may be better to leave it for the future. I think Whitebeard will sacrifice his life at some point, allowing Luffy and the others to save Ace, and his crew and the rest will get out of there barely escaping a capture. It won't be the happy ending either sides desire, but it will satisfy both sides to some extent.
