- The government because they let the people get away with that shit and cooked the books to hide the mess they were in. - The banks (particularly Goldman Sachs, IIRC) because they aided and abetted the government in said cooking. - Possibly the EU, who didn't investigate Greece before letting them into the Eurozone, leading to them getting cheap loans. |

Yep, you pretty much need to hang the entire country and players in the EU and the banksters as well. Not that I don't love Greece -- but the EU was insane to admit it into the EU's financial sphere.

We have smart creatures working for GS, but they are beasts with no ethics....to see big gaping hole like this, and instead of helping to close it, they lent them money to earn the interest, then hedge against it to recoup their principal. Though I haven't traded GS for quite some time, it is one of my favourite stock to hold in my paper trades; I reset my karma by being extra nice to bank staff and the old aunties and uncles who have no idea that their savings might be wiped thanks to the idiots who resell GS's financial products.

Though Greece has been getting money through the EU from Germany for decades now. And since the Euro they had the lowest interest rates since, like, forever, you know. I don't want to do too much finger pointing, as they've been doing the same thing all Western nations have been doing for a long time. It's just that they overdid it. Just wish my government would've asked the people if they want to create/join the Euro and guarantee for the other nations, instead of dragging us deeper and deeper into the shit. I mean, Greece's deficit is larger than that of Germany... The European leaders and their delusions of grandeur. Jean-Claude Juncker, one of the main heads behind the Euro, announced the Euro - unlike himself - will continue to exist "forever" just two days ago. And Germans still remember the 1000 year Reich that lasted only 12 and the Socialism, that was supposedly "unstoppable" - a month before the Wall fell. |

Global hacking group Anonymous says it hacked Chinese government sites
"China was struggling Thursday to restore several government Web sites that
international hacking group Anonymous says it attacked in an apparent protest against Chinese Internet restrictions. On a Twitter account established in late March, Anonymous China listed the Web sites it says it hacked over the last several days. They include government bureaus in several Chinese cities, including in Chengdu, a provincial capital in southwest China." See: http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/...d=pm_world_pop =============================================== Hacker claims breach of Chinese defense contractor: "A hacker has posted thousands of internal documents he says he obtained by breaking into the network of a Chinese company with defense contracts, an unusual extension of the phenomenon of activist hacking into the world's most populous country. The hacker, who uses the name Hardcore Charlie and said he was a friend of Hector Xavier Monsegur, the leader-turned- informant of the activist hacking group, LulzSec, told Reuters he got inside Beijing-based China National Import & Export Corp (CEIEC)." Pffft, the only ones who *don't* think this are the crabby old white men of the Augusta country club. The rich version of the little boy's fort that says, "NO Gurrls!!!"
But remember... there was a big rahrah over whether they'd even let Tiger Woods play there... we're talking serious retrograde "Old South" :P Idiots...

I remember getting group counselled with a couple of problem kids, and it turned out that all of us were bully victims. But when one of them started shouting at the counsellor for "hitting the soft spot", the other was cowering in her chair in an almost fetal position and started sobbing hysterically. Still, my guess is that the sufferers couldn't find anyone who could listen and understand at the same time. And they were very likely to be right....and it compounds the problem since nobody thought they could, nobody bothered.
