After episodes 3-5 caused me to doubt whether this was a series worth watching, this episode somewhat gave me more hope.
I think Saki is a despicable character. I can't think of any of the rest of the cast that I would want to see piloting the remaining Valvraves. But the series may be going for a unique angle, showing how power brings out the worst in people. It could be interesting, having heroes who are selfish and possibly prone to becoming aggressors themselves. At this point in time I find myself cheering for Dorssia's efforts, even though they're supposed to be the enemy. Most of the students strike me as being incredibly naive and/or foolish. I can't tell if those feelings are what the series is intending to bring out of the audience or if it's just something else.

This is why Shoko is still #1. Rukino Saki is just a fame seeking, slap-magnet, bipolar disorder loser.
Just waiting for the ERU ERUFU to do work. BUT MOSES. OH GOD. MOSES WHY?!?!?!??!!? Sunrise better bring him back like they did with Shoko.

Either way, this being a Devil's Contract better not someone too praiseworthy take it. Devil's Contracts have a tendency to... screw up nice people.

lol too bad... VVV got it own subforum but noone is posting. Well ep 6 is pretty weak compared to the previous 5 with it twisting hilarious entertainment.
From Saki flashblack we can see she was abuse by her father so she wanted to be independent by becoming an idol but even there she was later rejected, so no wonder she has some animosity toward mankind/world. Haruto was one of the few whom she receives kindness, so she treats him a litte better than the rest. |
