They're only women too from what I gather. It talks about "Welcome Sister Valkyrur" from memory in the game.

Im not certain that's correct, it never specifies if its only woman but in their profile page it has a statute of a male Valkyrur (at least it looks male)

The statue of the male Valkyrur is based upon the mythology that was built up around them. Such as the Darcsens being a single evil male entity and being defeated by the single righteous male good entity in the Valkyrur.

Even in the mythology, the hero Valkyrie was a female. I don't think the entire race was female, but the female side sure gets more spotlight, just as with actual valkyries. Actually, I think the "actual" valkyries were all female, so maybe "Valkyria"s are too.

Also, isn't Valkyria just the Japanese pronunciation of Valkyrie? The original Norse word Valkyrja at least looks like it's supposed to be pronounced like the former, so I can see how the Japanese picked that up.

I would guess it goes up to 26, so 6 more episodes after the most recent.

Time to answer my own question and some of yours^^

Maximilian Gaius von Reginrave, and his brother is only known as Crown Prince.
The anime is officially scheduled for 26 episodes.
And Norse Valkyrie's are female ONLY, for more cheek here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valkyrie

In the game they weren't related at all.

In the anime they changed a few facts about Cordelia, so as of episode 20 we don't know yet. The answer is most likely negative too though.
