It's similar to how Jessica was in the first game. They've got some of the stuff done and available, but not all. Jessica's not playable in Arcade Mode in original Ougon, but she is in CROSS. Bern, Lambda, and Will have data in the game, but they not done with them yet(Probably working on recording dialouge, but don't take my word as fact.

). They'll be patched in Spring 2012, that time period probably for keeping up interest.
EDIT: Partially ninjaed by cronnoponno. And to immblueversion: I know right?! Completely I Told You Guys So. Although I admit I was a little discouraged by Erika at first. But I'll shut up about her now. Still Miyuki Sawashiro went up and above my expectations. Again.

Also, expected Dlanor's voice to sound like a bit more matured and Erika's voice a bit childish.

But still, fuck yeah, been waiting for this for a year now! Can't wait until Bernkastel, Lambdadelta, and Willard gets done. I'm gonna assume Bernkastel were the hardest to program and design since this game was in developmental since 2008 and was she was suppose to be in the original and X but was removed from both games.

Erika ended up sounding amazing,
and is that a instrumental version of Chiru's 2nd Opening I hear? hell yes!
Player is kinda... not good, but gameplay's gameplay.

Indeed. Quite the departure from the more hammy villains we're used to,

Well, he seemed more maniacal in Forgery no. XXX,
but we'll see how his dialogue turns out.

Seems really awesome for combos...
Cause Dark Battler can do whatever he wants during the special...
Even chain into meta special...

I love Dark Battler's voice. It's more of a cruel version of Battler's way of speech but like others have said, it wasn't over the top or cheesy.

Now, one of my main question is in the character select, you can change the music. Can you dump your on MP3/WMA files in the music folder or are you forced to use the game's music? Because i wanna use one of these songs on Black Battler's stage:

In the original game, it was ridiculously easy to swap out the music and opening video for your own. I don't know if that's the case in this game, but I sure do hope so...
@Ayane
At the very least, the data's their portraits and standing sprites. There might be more, but probably not. Regardless, we'll be waiting for them until Spring 2012. At least I can get some good practice in during the wait.

Yeah, it was. All you had to do is convert a mp3 audio file into an wma audio file and change said file you are using into the Ougon's music file. It was a bit tedius but the results were welcoming if you did it right.

I'd say that it's worth asking someone with a copy of the game to have a look inside their files, but it seems that nobody has a copy yet...lol.
I can't imagine that they'd change things drastically, considering that CROSS is only an "expansion"...so you'd probably be able to change the music files. Having the right music just makes things ten times better. ;b

Wow, I actually found myself liking Erika's Meta-Super a lot more than I thought I would. From just the screenshots I thought it would just be like a simple put trashbag on them and slice, but there was the whole climbing the windows and then even locking them into the chain closed room at the very end which I thought was a nice touch.

Also, I only noticed this on my second watch, but wedding dress Erika when she fights against Battler?

Nope, that's the Erika and Dlanor ending. It somehow ends with Erika facing off against Jessica, who's cosplaying as her mom for reasons I'm guessing relate to keeping her from being accused of something she likely didn't do.

I managed to get a copy of the game earlier today, I will try making a rundown of each new character and mechanics in a couple of hours.

It will include my horrible, heavy accented, voice. So I will do my best to get it right in 1 go so that everyone is happy and full of joy after it.

Seriously, if you guys did find challenging Ougon vanilla.... Cross will take your challenge and hit you in the face really hard.

I'm shaking already with the discovery I just did a few seconds ago. It's useless... it's all useless.
