That was an awesome way to end a season. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the episode. This has got to be one of the best season ending episodes I have seen in Anime, since most endings are mediocre or disappointing.

Looking forward to season 2.

I enjoyed this episode but I felt like it dragged significantly at points. In particular, the sequences where Elsie is just watching Keima play could have easily been half as long or less and still gotten the point across. I don't know how much content is out there in the manga but after 2 filler episodes, 3 episodes for Kanon and Shiori and finally this I felt like they really tried to stretch this season's content out in order to fit it into 12 episodes and leave stuff for season 2. Don't get me wrong, I'll take this over the reverse situation (*cough* Angel Beats *cough*) but I just felt like the show could stand to move faster.

All that said, it was quite an entertaining episode. I loved all the console parody names (anybody wanna play some Y-Box 360 or CreamCast?). The line "The top left and bottom right stories were very touching" was great as well. The ending song was hilarious and was a nice way to end the season on a suitably goofy note.

Even more impressive (or sad) since I've never watched To Heart...

that was all sorts of creepy .. but my inner-geek salivated at all the consoles

quite a nice ep, waiting for S2

P.S. how much did Microsoft pay for this ? ^^ X360 was featured the most in this ep. Or do date-sims really come out on it as much (or more) as on PS3 ?

She ain't gonna be in it for quite some time or? Possible foreshadowing for S3???!
Awesome way to bump up the ratings of the show by 0.5-1.1 atleast! And what would any shounen series be without a dragonball reference?

It seems like this anime was made for this episode only.

It doesn't seem that it will actually help the boost in DVD/BD sales though. Nevertheless, great finale, can't wait for Season 2.

Don't you know, he's a teen model in a magazine.

But seriously, between him and Kirino I'm sure he's the better gamer and definitely the more serious one too.

Damn, that episode was perfect in every way. He truely is a god of gaming! *wipes tear from eye*

That was the best endings to a season I've ever seen. His song, although his voice is terrible for singing was amazingly cool too. One day Keima, one day I'll be able to play 24 games at the same time!

Yeah but I think kirino enjoys it more.(points to oreimo episode nine)

Speaking of this episode I just finished reading its manga version earlier.(I am trying to make it to chapter 125 by tomorrow night. I am chapter 11 now) I think the anime did a good job on this episode after comparing it to the manga.

HAHAHAHAHA Shimono singing the ED has to be one of the funniest things in the series.

Anyways great end for the season and a nice transition for the second season by having her cameo at the end. At least we KNOW she'll be there, I do hope the others make the cut next season.

Now we know how Keima keeps fit . I seriously loled at Hiro being made to sing the ED so off tune. I was worried at first that the song in the OP single had Keima's voice drowned out by ELISA and the choir but they got it right for the episode. Man, I wish this version was on the single as well I can only hope that maybe the soundtrack will.

Great way to end the first season and have a Haqua cameo.

Well in the manga Wakaki drew the 360 in Keima's dream, so it's just being faithful to the source. Unlikely MS actually paid either, the 360 is known as the loser otaku machine in Japan in the first place, so it's just reflecting reality.

Also there's definitely way more VNs on the 360, but that's actually bad omen as in Japan only the worse selling consoles gets all the VN ports and games. It's a downward spiral when the console maker loosen up their game publishing criteria and fees which then only attracts the small publishers whom are nearly always the VN makers. This happened with nearly every "failed" console you can name in Japan each generation ever since graphics were good enough to make decent VNs - PC-Engine CD-ROM (lost to Super Nintendo and Mega Drive), Sega Saturn (lost to Playstation), PC-FX (lost to Playstation & Saturn), Sega Dreamcast (lost ot PS2), and now the Xbox360 (lost to Wii and PS3). And also to an extent the PSP (lost to the NDS, only prop up by Monster Hunter and its clones, and now you get a flood of anime tie-ins).

The idea of him playing a bullet hell game with the wiimote struck me as absurdly hilarious.

Auto goes too slowly. When you're speed reading you want precise control over when it moves on. Clearly he wasn't listening to the voice acting after the first few lines.

Well, with all the chapters in the manga, and so many things that need to be in this anime. I was expecting a season 2 when I first heard about how much episodes were going to be released Going to get really exciting when they start showing it
