McCain refutes accusations by fellow Republicans about Hillary Clinton aide
http://security.blogs.cnn.com/2012/0...-clinton-aide/ I can't tell if I am more surprised of the accuser's stupidity or by McCain's declaration.

It could be both but at least Palin is more likely to be be doing it for the fame and money. Not than any of them should consult a psy or two. It would change the wrong informations on their brain bit it wouldn't hurt.

No, Palin is just mean and ignorant. Bachmann is in "overdrive crazy" along with about 10 other Representatives who show up on the news periodically.

Despite not agreeing with almost any of his policies, I've always somewhat liked Senator McCain.
He seems to me a like a respectable "old school" conservative, compared to the sleazy neo-cons we've had in the recent years and the tea-joke. Him being a veteran himself, and having his children enlist as well, wins a lot of respect for me. When Michael Moore was going around asking congressmen to enlist their young ones in Farenheit in an attempt to show the politicians in negative light, the first thing that came to my mind was "well, McCain doesn't have any problem doing this."

I view McCain as someone I have respected in the past but he seems to have been surrounded and overrun by the GOP wingnuts before he realized it. He ended up taking very bad advice from them. These days I think he's just kind of a lost guy --- though I'm wondering if he's finally coming to grips with the notion (like the other older 'foreign policy' GOPers have realized) that his party has "left the building" mentally.
