His reaction though does indeed warrant some... "worries". If my boyfriend shows up one day out of nowhere after having dissapeared with a smile on his face as if nothing happened...

Well with the little tease they gave us at the end of the OVA series, with Yuji all of a sudden dissapearing during Christmas. Then Shana goes looking for him then finds a shadow-like figure of him. I would expect i would be a long time difference between them. He could just be happy that he finally got to see Shana again? No, No.. If that was the reason, then he wouldn't have left in the first place. So there would be something up.

I feel like the only one on the Yuji's side right now

I think he was just happy to be abble to show up at Shana and meet her for last time, his thoughts surelly were something like "It worth dying and sacrificing for this world?" and then when he found with Shana was like "Yeah, she worths it". Besides we don't know if this distorsion is gonna destroy the reality, it's like a 10% chances of sucess, and he believes in that. I gotta say that after all what he did, I'm still on his side and will be on his side till he realize that he is doing it in the wrong way or get to his goal. Just my oppinion ^^

Oh don't take my comment wrong, I never take sides in any anime-related discussion really

So I'm neutral towards Yuji but favored towards Shana of course

But I suppose Yuji does get some points for being with Shana >.>. Well, it all depends on how well the plan really goes.
