For the moment, only two forms have been officially confirmed. Whether they introduce another in the future, who knows. The OP only shows DB being in action but keep in mind they can always modify the OP.

Except the first opening showed both of AGE-1's additional forms from the get-go. With only the DB being shown in the new OP, it seems to indicate that DB is AGE-2's only additional form. And really, does it need a third form?

A dual sword wielding close combat suit won't hurt. I remember that the first leak of the AGE 2 and AGE 3 shows that AGE 2 has 2 Wears and more.

But considering AGE 2 is only showing up in season 2's 4th episode, probably less Wear will give enough screen time for both Normal and Double Bullet

What you say its true, but remember that change of styles is always possible. An OP is always easily modifiyable in the middle of an anime's airing and the staff might want it to be a surprise or whatever other reason. At the moment, we can only safely say that no third form is confirmed, we can never say that there will not be one even if there's a decent chance of that possibility.

That doesn't mean I'm saying that there will or likely be a third form, it just means that if there is one, we don't know about it yet.

-I wonder whether the Normal might function as the archetype your talking about? It is a fast and mobile form and its far lighter than the Spallow. If what I say is true, then the goal of the forms these time will be diversification of each form rather than specialisation, although anything needed will probably be split between the two.

-That was just a leak from someone's working place and doesn't count as "final official"(Spallow's name was Spark in that chart, they have since changed that) although it does count as them working on stuff that will be official, possibly with some changes like Spallow's name and AGE-2's modification.

They were probably planning two alternate forms for the other two arcs since they did so for the first one but its likely was not final but they may have changed their minds since then. But as I said, a third form is possible if they wanted to introduce it. Either they wanted to keep it hidden longer for whatever reason, or they decided that three total might be too much and changed their minds.

I personally don't mind if they just stuck with these two though if it means the distribution of time is more fairer relative to AGE-1's alternate forms. They were not handled well in my opinion as far as screentime is concerned.

I personally doubt its going to divided equally, Normal will likely get more of the spotlight but anything closer to the inequality given to the alternates in Flit's arc will greatly do.

Although, since DB appears to be more versatile than Spallow and Titus combined, maybe it would be easier to fit it in more situations (hell we just found it it has a Flight Mode of sorts!!!). As I've always said, I greatly prefer the AGE System be used to upgrade current forms with new equipment or modifications rather than spouting out wears that only get one or two spotlight moments while Normal does the rest. Its easier to intergrate/seperate equipment from forms rather than whole forms. In AGE-1, the forms were literally the add-on equipment.

If there is a third form for AGE 2 and it is still hidden as of now, it might be one Final Battle Form which is pretty much perfect in term of mobility, close and long range combat, instead of just a mere variant

That's a cool acronym for DODS, though I don't particularly get the "orbital" part. The rest makes perfect sense considering the nature of the weapon. Still leagues ahead of those god-awful acronyms from SEED.

Could essentially be saying that it moves like a drill. The spiral or "Drill" effect in animation does "orbit" around a regular looking straight beam afterall as both the spiral and the beam moves. There's a physics/chemistry meaning on the word orbital too but I'm guessing it refers to electron orbits than anything and that the orbital here more likely descriptive of the function nature and not related to that.
