I actually like the idea of more 4-komas being turned into anime. They are not really laugh-out-loud-funny (with a few exceptions, of course), but they always try to give you a heart-warming and fuzzy feeling. And yes, I'm actually looking forward to these adaptations (now, if they mind to release more information together with the announcement... )

K-on! seems to be set for Spring 2009, though I can't really confirm this, myself (there are some changes to the website and the addition of a blog).

I was looking at the staff for that...

Is NHK co-producing with a Korean studio for the series? Heewon Entertainment is a korean studio, who was also responsible for Jang Geum's Dream which NHK aired. However, the Directing seems to be split between a Japanese and Korean person...

I tried searching the thread before I asked a question, but it's difficult to separate "a" in everyone's sentences with my search of "Special A"..

so, to that end...

I thought last year when Special A was about to end I read on this forum that they would continue with a second season. Maybe I'm blind or losing it but I wonder if that's not the case anymore Or what the news is? I can't seem to find anything and I'm preetty sure I know what that means... although i hope i'm wrong... anyone have news on Special A? if any 2nd season starts?

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned here yet.

Lupin the 3rd Vs. Detective Conan

The TV special is set to air sometime in March as part of Nippon Television’s and Yomiuri Television’s 55th and 50th anniversary celebrations, respectively, and is being produced under the collaboration of the series’ original creators Monkey Punch and Gosho Aoyama.

No details on the plot or actual airdate as of yet.

Read that article more carefully, it's saying that a preview episode "Act 0" shall ship on a DVD in April. It says nothing about the second season airing in April.

It was apparently posted in Dengeki Maoh March issue on page 322. Dengeki Bunko bootleg confirms what ANN posted. I must note that the way it's articulated, it sounds as if vol.0 is part of the second season.

The shounen(boy's) light novel series Dhurarara!! by Narita Ryougo (author) and Yasuda Suzuhito (illustrator) might get an anime adaptation.

Other than a shounen manga adaptation of the light novel series, which has been announced to start serialization in the shounen manga magazine GFantasy on April 18th, 2009, there's also a registered domain: http://www.drrr.jp/ which seems to be the future official site for the anime.

The above site is not working as of now, but it is registered by Aniplex Inc. which is what is suggesting that Dhurarara!! might get an anime adaptation.
