another excellent episode.

LoL, Kuroko... way to ruin the mood.
But it's all for the better, more Kuroko is always good.

Wow, they've really blew through two chapters just like that

Just like the others I say not enough gore! But also, was Vento's Air hammer projectile that small? I was expecting a large wrecking ball of some sort...

Breezing through those two chapters are fine, but a small side effect is that they would make It hard to explain Divine Punishment.

Damn that was one brutal episode from Accelerator. He just tore those guys apart. I guess the important lesson is that if you mess with Accelerator you die. Really sucked for that one girl who got her lower jaw just blown away. Now there's a poor way to die.

The whole situation though is getting pretty complicated. Accelerator is running low on battery power and that magician is on the loose. Can't forget either the whole spikes popping out of the ground thing and how many people are right now unable to move.

I'm sure Touma was somewhat more glad to run into a magician no matter how strong then dealing with those Hound guys since his hand doesn't work against guns.

Tsuchimikado looks pretty badass over there.

As expected of my favorite secondary male character That's why he's in the portrait shots with the other main characters in the OP.

EDIT: Lol, is it me or every Saturday after an episode of Index people swarm the baka-tsuki site causing it to crash ? I can't get in to check what is the exact detail of the spell that is being used to finish off the inhabitants of the city- All I remember is that Tsuchimikado mocked that the Catholics are actually using a spell that has it's roots (so to speak) in a Pagan religion, Greek I think...

Accel certainly does redeem himself in this episode by being epic again.

I got too spoiled from last week's episode so I had extremely high expectations with this one... and that was seriously disappointing. The transitions between scenes were abrupt, quality dropped (though no surprise there) and not to mention the pacing was all over the place.

edit: Oh I just found the culprit. So they're squeezing SS this season, huh? N wonder this episode felt rushed.

Agree, but troll faces don't really count as bad animation; personally I don't detect any drop in animation at all.

Anybody can identify the type of weapon Hound Dog soldiers are using? From the quick glance I get it has a bullpup design that looks very much like the Israeli's [IMI Tavor TAR-21]

... wow.
Accelerator WIN!
And both Touma and Accel ditch their borrowed lolis .

They should have showed Accel's extra brutality, if they also provided his rationalization for killing them off it would have probably been fine. (The whole thing where if he leaves one alive, he could get attacked by surprise and die, and no one would be around to save LO, combined with the need to instill fear to keep the upper hand in a 5 on one battle with no Network support).

No I mean it was during the talk with touma. Yes I also believe it's the TAR21. I was just playing modern warfare 2 to confirm it

As always, the "official" organizations/police/such here are so weak... I'd think they would be more trained, but no, *gets stabbed* --> I'll help the criminal escape to save my own life. Oi, oi...
In general, it wasn't actually that interesting of an episode... It was indeed bloody/gruesome, but the actual story development, which there wasn't actually that much of, wasn't anything interesting. Vent was.................... Well, it feels like a typical "crazy"-type enemy and even more, a typical "Toaru"-type enemy...

Haha, In........ Incubater-san... Talk about leisure.

PS: "Attempt"? Accelerator clearly killed though.

Not many people are willing to die for a paycheck let alone a cause that doesn't concern them, plus knowing Kihara, the moment that guy got injured he's got a death sentence on him.

Heroic dreamy ideas of sacrificing my life for a cause isn't the norm you know.

Technically, even if it's a swimming pool of red liquid, you can't call it murder unless there's a body.

I really wished they would've saved ss for later because there rushing the story here. The pace wasn't constant, the animation was clearly back to normal again and not fantastic like last week, although that's just typical j.c.staff. They work on way too many animes at once, they should really concentrate on one at a time and have the animation polished and not try to cram ss into the end. They left out details and well to put it simply, they rushed it. But I still loved the episode, it was awesome as always. I just wish they would've taken the time to make this arc amazing. I'm excited for next week though!!!

Lol, that's one way to check

Also, I think I've identified the shotgun that Accelerator used- [Saiga-12]

His barrel seem to be longer though...
