Reversing the decision wouldn't do much, since she already died. And even if they reversed it before she died, surgery slots are booked long in advance. Unless strings were pulled at the hospital, she'd have been a goner anyway.

Yup.. about the only response here that really has any meaning is to find out what people actually made the decisions, what people set the policies, and then let the dad go apeshit in a spray of gore and mayhem.

You have to wonder what kind of sociopaths infest health insurance companies... but many of them will take the "nazi" defense: "I vas just followink ordehs"

On the other hand, I feel like we're missing key information in the article. The hospital canceled the surgery??? Why? *MOST* hospitals will do what needs to be done and worry about the bill later. Note I said "most" ... hospital chains like HCA (dominant in Florida) are For-Profit and have been fined repeatedly over the years for unethical behavior -- I didn't see the hospital named but I wouldn't be surprised if it were HCA. If there is a hell, HCA executives/owners are going there.

I'm not clear on why this isn't in Silly News ... and to everyone in general, when you put a link out there, please provide a summary/explanation. Too often unexplained links lead to NSFW or uncomfortable places. Imagine the joy of having having that article pop up just as your conservative female boss peeks over your shoulder...

Honestly I'm surprised you'd look at this site during work (or school) since I think any boss or teacher would be miffed about un-work/school related things.

I use my phone for that... >.>

/snort first comment was lol.

Spoiler for comment, sorta NSFW:

Edit: Apologetic Swiss banks sweat it out as U.S., Europe mull redress

Quote:
Swiss banks hoping to atone for decades of complicity in tax evasion may be left to sweat it out for months as the United States and Germany ponder the right level of punishment.

Switzerland has long dodged U.S. accusations of hiding money for wealthy Americans. But now eleven Swiss banks are under investigation in the United States and there is pressure too from Europe where burdened taxpayers want scalps after numerous banking scandals. The Swiss need a deal to remove the taint from their financial industry.

However, Washington must factor forthcoming elections into its thinking, and Germany is delaying ratification of a tax deal key to Switzerland's efforts to strike similar agreements elsewhere in Europe. So the Swiss may be in limbo for a while.
Why that sentence did made me think about Romney the moment I saw it ?

There are plenty of other people up for reelection in Congress that could be applied.

Or people that back various political movments, lobbies, and Congressmen.

Here's something I've digged up from 2ch that might not be ever reported.

Former J-Pop Singer Azumi Uehara had fallen into vice. Long time anime viewers might remember her for singing one of Detective Conan's ED

What happened was that she was suspected of fraud a few years back and disappeared afterwards.

But now it seems that she had resurfaced, out of all places, in a uncensored Japanese Porn under the name of "Nagahara Yui". Observant 2ch denziens even presented proof as follows :-

A cautionary tale of how far some might fall, I think.

the major question is.

is she any good?

btw since most music companies take a huge cut form their "girls." Wouldn't she make more money as a porn star then a pop star?

As a singer, not too bad.

As a JAV Actress, you need to do some searching and have a look yourself here.

Could be. But I guess though she had the talent, she doesn't have the brains. That's evident from where she ends up today.

One thing I have noticed in this industry, that many are actually motivated by money. Only a few actually BOTHERED to do things properly; those money-faced ones simply go "Please refer to Customer Service/Claims".

An older agent with 30 years in the industry told me that the only thing more valuable than money in this line is karma, but until you have seen enough clients die or get hospitalised, you won't understand. So I guess that is the reason why those agents take the "nazi" defence - they never expected the stuff they sell to be entirely useless.

Before the watchdog digs any deeper, I suggest they form a fully-armed raiding unit complete with fast assault vehicles and heavy automatic weapons - they need those to up-end 893.
