The only person who would do that is Nagi's grandfather, Mikado. Otherwise, they are just faceless irresponsible parents that abandoned their children.

Which I honestly kind of prefer. While I do like masterminds and such, I don't like it when every aspect of a story's history is dictated by them. Just let the parents be irresponsible. If someone has to be involved in their disappearance, let it be Hina's birth parents.

I think Maria and Nagi are used to misunderstandings related to Hayate by now.

Now A-tan on the other hand...

Too bad Hayate is going to carry Hina back into her room. Letting Hina wake up in Hayate's room would be an amazing start to the next chapter.

That said, the Hakuou people are such light sleepers. 3AM in the morning and they are still awake.

Now I just hope it goes like what Shadow5YA said: if only Hina wakes up in Hayate's room in the morning.

We could even one-up that by combining that with having A-tan waking up in the morning, wondering why she's not been getting any power reload points from Hina/Shirozakura last night and having her look for Hina

I haven't seen this posted here (apologizes if it was already) but apparently, Hata had asked people over on twitter if there are any unresolved plot lines they wanted to be addressed in the future.

Looks like he had gotten over his writers block. Return to the interesting parts again in the near future? ...

I am not convinced of that yet. The past few chapters were a grab bag. There were a couple of them were fun, like the exchange items and the last one about the dead priest, but I found all the others pretty dull.

Well, I would agree that he's still in the ''random chapter'' phase as of now (hence why I said in the near future) but it's clear he's planing a come back soon. How soon is that remains to be seen, but I think it's promising that he's looking to address the lingering plot threads that we all want to see again.
