These vote totals.... It's the final 16 and one candidate can't even muster three figures.

R.I.P J-Saimoe, you were fun once.

On what basis? Serious question.

In any event, Watashi vs. TOSHINO KYOUKO should be interesting.
Oh, I just had the impression Azusa was the stronger of the two. Maybe because she beat Nibutani but that could just have been the Madoka faction's doing. I don't have a strong opinion on this, that's why I phrased it as a question. If Tsukiko is the stronger one, that's fine with me too.

By the way, I see the tracker Mami 44 - 29 Miho. Mami is winning as expected but Miho isn't doing too bad I think.

Well, low vote total (B/c, well, no MadoMagi girl?), and Watashi easily win. Still rooting for a Kyouko-KYOUKO final.

For next match, in what should be the "match of the round" except that vote total will be low no matter what...

Pick: Nishizumi-dono, Predict: Mami.

I was a bit off here. Watashi did win but the match wasn't close at all. After Tsukiko did so well, I didn't expect Azusa would do this badly. Watashi advances to what may be the last match of the year without a Puella Magi in it.

Current vote: Mami leading 93-55.

Try your best Nishizumi-dono.

Winning in desperate straight is one of her traits in series..

And making careless mistakes due to overconfidence is one of Mami's traits.

Keep your head in the game, Mami!

As of now, with little more than 3.5 hours to go, Mami leads 134-74.

Things are looking very, very bad for Miho.

EDIT: 135-74 to Mami.

Since 10 am, Mami has been leading this stretch 73-35. I can't see Nishizumi recovering from this. My blog is already calling this race in favor of Tomoe.

If I'm a Madoka voter, the one character that I would have to be worried about at this point is Tsukiko. She earned 252 votes, and (pending these next two races) no one else other than Madoka has cracked 200. Kyouko S. has her hands full.

K1-8: Miki Sayaka vs Yoshino

A Puella Magi goes up and the Puella Magi will win. These two are actually from the same preliminary group. Sayaka took 1st while Yoshino was 13th. I guess Yoshino would do better than that now but she's not going to get that close to beating Sayaka.

Vote:
Miki Sayaka

Prediction:
Miki Sayaka

As much as I'd like to see Yoshino win, I want Sayaka to win too. Sayaka is far too strong for Yoshino to put up a good fight. Curse ion475 for taking the overrated label off Yoshino. Now Yoshino's gonna lose.

A draw's just gonna not happen. D:

Pick: BothForget it.
Prediction: Sayaka

With such a poor number of total votes,I wonder if there's still any meaning in winning this year Saimoe.

If this low number of votes as a result of boycott continue, whoever win the tournament is not even a legitimate winner at all.

RIP Saimoe Japan.

It's becoming zzzzzzzz as far as result goes...Mami almost doubled Miho and I don't think she even have to try...

Now, pushing for Sayaka to win by a even bigger margin.

Oh well, sad to see you go Nishizumi-dono but this had to happen sooner or later. It was a fun ride reaching this Round of 16. See you next year I hope.

And congrats to Mami. She obtained a clear victory. Still, she got a few less votes than Madoka. I think Madoka could be the stronger PMMM now. Not entirely sure but I predict Madoka will be the tournament winner (until now I was between Mami and Madoka).

Anyway, supporting Sayaka tomorrow. She should be able to win this match easily.
