Perhaps it's just a matter of endurance and stamina rather then being physically weak I guess

I don't think he's so weak that he can't do things like carry a person a short distance. He probably can't run the mile or do things that require a lot of stamina and endurance like KS suggested.

In C.C.'s case she fell from like 12 feet...? XD That's anime for you.

Meh, I'd say you're ignoring a boatload of scenes if you think he doesn't care about C.C. and Shirley and Kallen and Rivalz and Milly in season 1.
