It's not like they trust each others motivations. All they know is that they (Currently) want the same thing.

Side note - Would it be odd if Saito had no reaction to possibly killing his own Mother?

He attacked his own sister after she kept lording over how much better she was than him and his mother rally didn't do anything about it. Her having an IS, you can guess how well he fared attacking her.

Compared to that, Saito's life is actually pretty normal. Only the IS made it complicated. Then again, plot hole later when he somewho survives getting stabbed through the stomach.

Values dissonance struck hard when AU!Ichika saw I.S. gladiator, and how I.S. was treated. On the other side, they're hailed as god of war, and yet treated as sports partner by the students. Meanwhile, Sonic Drivers are seen as very expensive, nifty toys sometimes, but nonetheless very valuable and destructive assets for the military.

Not exactly, similar to Sonic Diver, if not more so. He knew they have feelings even though they're not exactly alive.

This is the alternate male Ichika.

The Female Ichika however saw I.S. as oddly life-like. This is one of their few difference.

Complex what? Per rule of fiction, genderflip also transfer to physique more or less. Ichika is muscular so....

Also, I.S.A. is a delicious target for WORMs due to it's intense energy readings, and that's not even taking the I.S. into account. So Alternate Japan and I.S.A. decided to work together, including technology exchange and joint combat.
