(And if you believe the "Special One", that was payback for Luis Garcia's "phantom" goal in 2005. Now the teams are even once again.) And whoever said Essien's goal was offside? In fact, I blame Riise as well in the second leg for just standing there, raising his arm trying to call offside that led to Essien running free. Quote:

Like last year's UCL QF clash with Arsenal, I'm just going to stay away from this thread for now, or my blood pressure will rise unnecessarily, I admit I'm not the sort that can take banter that well. I hope to come back by April 15th (after the second leg), otherwise, it may be weeks or months before I can come back, until then, all the best. |

Surprise surprise..
Suddenly.. ManU and Chelsea both drops points this week.. and we strengthen our grips (at 4th spot) while peeking whats happening above us with predatory eyes Everton slipped up too.. And now, if only .. if only Pool and Villa complete our magnificent lucky week by drawing each other up.. I might forget Theo's unfortunate injury

And what a disgraceful performance from Utd today, the back four was a mess and Fulham could have made the game 3-0. And Ferguson should have played Tevez and Rooney, instead of Berbatov, those two destroyed Fulham last time while Berbatov didn't do anything anything in this match. Well maybe Villa will step up tommorw and this will be a week that all big four drop points.

But I dont want Villa OR pool win
I didnt watch the ManU game, but are both red cards deserved? Right now.. it seems like Lady Luck wasn't just smiling at us.. she is grinning.. We still need to play with all the top 3, so, we have our destiny and final place on our own hands.. With Cesc coming back fresh, and Super have no other choice but fight for his place in team, since we are capable to even play with one striker now.. it should be very interesting sprint towards the end. The owl arrival really turn our team around. His performance last night was again top notch. And Bendtner scores!!!! Our coming fixture was a definition of pain tho 15/4 Villarreal - Home - Champions League Semi Final 2nd Leg 18/4 Chelsea - Neutral - FA Cup Semi Final 21/4 Liverpool - Away - Premier League 25/4 Middlesbrough - Home - Premier League 28/4 Manchester United - Away - Premier League 2/5 Portsmouth - Away - Premier League 9/5 Chelsea - Home - Premier League With 2 more games vs ManU should we goes through at Villareal expenses.

I've not been this depressed at our performances in such a long long time. Disgraceful performance by Man Utd. It absolutely kills my soul, having to watch Liverpool fans gloat everytime we slip up, but especially the past 2 games.
Maybe this International break will do us some good. Brad Friedal will be suspended for the game against us, so thats a plus for us. |

That is a good sportsmanship right there but they were winning so not much was at stake.
Anyway if anyone here cares about international matches I heard that Argentina lost to Bolivia 6-1, pretty amazing result. On the other part of the world in Asia(where no one gives a damn about it when it comes to soccer ), South Korea beat North Korea 1-0.

8 hours to go lol .. for my football feast.. I'm kinda excited, even tho it wasnt a start of a new season or anything.
2 weeks feels like eternity.. I hate interlull.. more so when every single time, it cost us our players.. why cant Rooney gets injured.. or Ferdinand.. or VDS, or Gerrard, Torres, JT.. Why do it always be RvP, Diaby, Samir Nasri , and Dudu for fu(k sake WHYYY!?!! We have 7 games.. in a space of 25 days (and we lost 4 main players). After a fantastic run of form, we are subdued by the idiotic interlul break.. Its a make or break game tonite. A win to ManCity tonite will open the possibility of 2nd place (mathematically speaking).. A lose, and there goes our momentum. The reverse fixture before was our worst performance this season, so there's a revenge as well. We'll be welcoming our captain Cesc as well.. While some points the fact that we perform better without him (in this 3 months), it probably due to the fact that (i) he was tired after a prolonged season - he still young, and peoples forget that; (ii) We grow stagnant and peoples figure out that stopping Cesc was the key to stopping us. With AA, RvP maturing into his forward playmaker role and also Samir given freerole to do whatever he wished, and not forgetting Denilson have, over the season, completely matured into his role.. It would be one force no one can face. We surrenderred 1st place, as logically speaking, only a total lose of form by ManU (even tho I hate them so much) will see them lose it.. but we'll do everything we can to bridge the point gap, we'll cheer Pool in silent as well, but you wont get that 3 points easily come 25th Apr

For some "unexplainable" reasons.. I wanted AV woke up from their slumber just to make things interesting.. both for the 4th spot.. and the top 2 spot
Nothing beats the nail biting drama I fully believe we can still chase Chelsea for 3rd spot tho

I was cheering like a mad man too with that goal.. simply because Pool topple ManU from the top spot with that goal .. even if it is just for 24 hours and at the cost of +2 games.
I truely hate those Red Devil as much as I hate our white colored next door neighbour.. but they have BDRBDB .. so they are slightly worse in that account
