"Dead or alive, you're coming with me!"

You all had to chew out Tsuzuki for sending MS6 against the Hucks. You wanted your combat cyborgs soooo bad. Are you happy now? Are you happy?

Crackpot theory time! The CW reverse-engineered the Mariage to create the Raptors!

I keep hearing about this Mariage stuff. I really don't want to have to read more of ViVid to find out, but I suppose I'm going to have to? (I don't even know where to get translations for it anymore. . .)

Mariage are from SSX, for which the translations are floating around on youtube.

Long version short: Zombie cyborgs from the Old Belkan era.

They aren't from ViVid, they are from Sound Stage X. ^^;

Spoiler for SSX:

Spoiler for NEXT - CW-AD X Raptor:
Neither the most aesthetically pleasant nor practical design (why a head tilting helmet?) And I'm surprised they're still vouching for melee even though AEC weapons doesn't seem to stand a chance in close combat. To be fair, the Nanoha vs Touma fight had only just recently happened, but you'd think they'd prepare them for both ranged and melee, just in case. Or will they also wield Strike Cannons?

And I'm still curious to what Tsuzuki intends by making them human like (as in, what he really intends, not the speculations)

My personal guess is because the gadget drones were boring. But that's just me.

Could be that he's going to end up making the heroes 'liberate' the droids too.

Ayayay!

Now they're throwing Power Rangers into Na-wait they already did that xDU

StrikerS Fate is the living incarnation of a Ranger from the Mighty Morphin era.

I can't recall a Ranger wearing skimpy tempting battle outfits that wouldn't look out of place in a strip club. Heck, not even the villains were that...daring

But yeah, seriously? Of all sci-fi Power Armors/Battle Robots from other medias,be it manga (Chachamaru), Anime (Gundams, Macross' Ghost AIF-7S), video games (Spartan Armor, N7 armors, HK-47), tabletop (Space Marine armors, Necrons, Tau Battlesuit) -bottom line is, so many inspirations to choose- whoever designed for NEXT (not the mangaka IIRC) instead base his/her design from those mushroom guys in Mario Bros

"Thank you Touma, but Lily's in another castle!"

On another topic, anyone got translations on how the merge between Lily and Touma works? Do they actually meld or something a la Flame of Recca's Kurei-Kurenai or did she merely became her weapon like Maka-Soul from Soul Eater?

Maybe they'll look better in the manga. NEXT does have kind of a completely different style.

The Raptors' helmets personally remind me of Lost Planet 2's NEVEC Leader in its second episode.

They'll still have those big mushroom helmets with a convenient glass roof so their enemies can exploit it for massive damage!

Raptors, eh?

Can we expect them to have stealth like the F22 Raptor?

I'm talking personality wise, Fate become so caritative, nice and overall goody-good that i won't ended up surprised to see her participating in activities like charity sales, the cleaner's day festival or a health marathon until Bardiche beeps and Lucino tell her to go to action. Then Fate morphs xD.

Back to the Raptors, probably they will indeed use melee force against their target, whit all of the "the strenght of 10 normalhumans" and all.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Raptors use ranged weaponry. If they're full androids, they could easily have weaponry in their palms that shoots energy or something.

And... that's... kind of who Fate was in A's, it just wasn't shown much, and she wasn't in the same position. I think the only difference between A's Fate and StrikerS Fate, barring the age, was the fact we got a lot more time to see Fate doing things non work related in StrikerS, whereas A's was a lot more compact.

Yup, the palm lasers makes sense, also i wonder what special funciont those "Alpha Helmets" have xD

About Fate that behavior seems a bit akward at age 19 an on the setting of StrikerS, but yeah, back in A's she was already pretty busy attending school and having duels with Signum xD. So yeah, not much time for charity xD
