Episode 12 was alright. We knew pretty much nothing about Shun's family, unlike the other guys, we got to know Kaname's mom in earlier episodes and Yuta and Yuki are siblings.
Only one now missing is Chizuru, but I cannot see one of his family members being introduced anytime soon.

Great way to end the first half(?). Basically the gang were doing a work experience/placement at their old kindergarden/nursery.
Quite funny how the little girls are all around Yuta and Yuki, and the boys around Shun ^^. It was probably my favourite episode so far.

The playing house sequence was great.
"Darling, we've been married for two years. I want a kid."
"You want a kid? I think that would be a crime, age wise."
"Stop playing house as if it's real.".

I had wondered before if Kaname would meet Kaori-sensei in the present day. Old crushes die hard.

I shall miss this show until it returns.

Every scene with the children was great! Starting from when their all sitting on the floor with there cute beedy eyes looking up at them to the House game where Kaname and Yuuta are pretending to be the son and husband XD That girl wanted to have two children with Yuuta and his responses to everything was just wonderful

I laughed a lot of the children thinking Shun was a girl, and the young lovey dovey couple of that girl and Ken was adorable

Definately one of my favourite episodes of this anime so far

That was cute and it's cool having a series that goes full circle in a manner like this.

When I watched the first episode I was thinking "this is so boring I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch it all" but after the first two episodes it really started to come together and had a lot of really funny jokes and subtle characterisations. Probably the second best SoL I've watched (though I haven't watched many).

Although for a guy-centric slice of life series there were a lot of supporting female characters. Which I think was a strength in the show.

I loved the last episode. Probably the best of the whole series.

It was clear pretty fast that Ken liked the girl, given how he was eager to join the 'playing house' game, yet was sorta rejected, because she couldn't fit in a third son. And when he later offered her those cookies, that really sealed the deal. I liked how he picked up on the fact that Kaname (still) has a crush on the female teacher. Of course, Kaname will probably never admit his true feelings to her.

Even with his hair short, the kids confused him for a girl, and he didn't take that well. Makes me wonder why he never picked up on that little fact. And leave it to him to spill the beans about Kaname's crush to Chizuru.

Overall, this show was very good. The first few episodes left me in doubt on whether or not I'd like it, but Chizuru really livened up the cast and changed the show for the better.

On to season 2!

The gang of 5 is back, and they haven't changed a bit. IMO, that's a good thing.

Spoiler for season 2 ep 1:

An excess of winter tangerines at lunchtime somehow leads to a sleepover at Kaname's house which leads to impersonations of Shun and mythological histories of constellations. The Shun impersonations were the episode's highlight for me and despite the in-show claims to the contrary fairly convincing.

I like Chizuru's post-bath look with his hair down better than the gelled spikes he normally sports.

I'm glad the show is back. The first half was a season highlight for me. I fully expect the second half to also be a season highlight.

This was a great episode: Kaname's mom, and the Shun impersonations were so perfect. Love the new OP more than season 1, but the ED is mixed (I LOVE those visuals, but the song is bleh). I'm so glad this show is back, cause its definitely one of my favorites.

After the epic disappointment of Kill Me Baby and Daily Lives of High School Boys, it's nice to have a decent anime comedy to watch again. Loved Chizuru and Yuuta (or was it Yukki?) peeping on Kaname -- c'mon, guys, his hot mom's down the hall practically begging for a couple hot young things to pay her a visit, and you're trying to get a look at a naked dude?

I'm not sure which twin it was either. But based on personalities, it was likely Yukki. Yuuki is usually Chizuru's cohort in crime. Plus Yuuta is more mature and responsible than Yuuki.

The OP sequence this time felt... odd? Just at the part where it transitions to the twins and then to Kaname. Liked how the colour scheme was reminiscent of the manga covers for a while. The final group shot was nice too. Akira~! Maybe this season you'll get your lost screentime! (He better, it's not like there'll be another one after this >_>) But man the ED. I love it. Definitely my fav song in the series so far. It's so relaxing and side scrolling sequence is fun to watch too.

Episode itself was same old, same old, which of course means good. I heard this was from a much later volume? Part of it was taken from one of the drama cds too. Love seeing them dicking around. It's good to have the show back.

Nothing has changed. The first episode is as entertaining as ever, just like the first season. How I have missed the boys and their antics! I like the fact that there is some development, in the sense that

....Shun realizes that Chizuru might not feel comfortable over how the other 4 guys often talk about their childhood. I also like Shun's remark that Chizuru has been with them for so long, it feels as if he is part of the group from young.

But for me, the best scene has got to be Kaname imitating Shun and Shun walking in to discover that That scene alone deserves 10/10.

And the cats! The way the 5 boys' bond is mirror with the 5 cats is really sweet

Kimi to Boku continues in its usual relaxed style.
Those guys sure have a lot of memories together.
The kindergarten flashback are always cute.
So was comparing them to kittens.
Guess that sleepover made them share & reminisce.
