I personally thought the backstory was mildly interesting. They should have spent some more time on character development and backstory rather than on those boring cases. Things are probably gonna get serious from now on, let's see how this will end~

Damn that episode. It was quite sad. I thought Art would have joined Moral. Moral also became quite disutrbing out of nowhere. However, there is something weird with the flashback. Hajime wasn't in the academy.

Art~!!!!!!! Hamatora is really turning out to be one of the best shows of this season, surpassing animes adapted from LNs, like SutoBura and Tokyo Raven, by a wide margin!
Though such a pity that it will be a single cour... This show is filled with salting (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salting the confidence trick one), dark triad, abreaction, macdonald triad, voice to skull, love bombing, and the list goes on and on (no it really does!). People really need to sit down and work through this maze called Hamatora.

Did anybody notice that Nice is wearing Art's brother's jacket?

If so then, I already did explain, at least a part of it, in the same post. If your still not satisfied, you can take a look at the Sutobura anime thread for the another, completely different, reason.

...well fuck. This is the second show this season in which the one character that I like winds up offed....
However, unlike Nobungaga the Fool, most of the characters don't give me serious Gary/Mary Sue vibes...so I'll probably finish it off.

So... who is going to be that "spiritual successor" of Art?
But how is Hajime is going to become important at this point?? BTW, I liked how Art managed to crack Moral's facade. Even just briefly, Moral stopped talking in that cheer stage act like voice. |

I'm very sad that Art died. I liked him.
Nice is going to declare war when he realizes that Moral killed Art. I hope Nice doesn't lose himself completely in the process. Some intriguing background information was revealed. I was surprised at how few of the cast actually graduated from the minimum school. I'm particularly interested in why Nice left early. I'm willing to bet it had something to do with Art's brother.

Yay for the main story!
Was about time they started to put more of it. Art's history took the spotlight this time. It was interesting to find out more about him. That white haired freak is pretty obnoxious. What's with those pointy teeth; a pretty obvious villain. Art was a pretty cool guy, what a shame.

Aaargh. I honestly thought Art was going to hang around for a long time but no... Damn it Moral. I was still hoping that he only stabbed Art and left him to die but instead, Moral gave assurance shots which pretty much killed any chance of Art surviving.
I'm going to miss him since he is a very good guy as well.
