1. Fiamma manages to cut off Touma's right arm, and absorbs it.
2. The dragon from the Alchemist Arc makes its appearance once more, and Touma's arm grows back

But how? I mean, he couldn't have just hit him with his arm and that's it. The dragon had to do something to Fiamma to make his so weak he could barely stand after being defeated by Touma.

The program runs down the computer to make it work. In the ESPer way, the programmer is the esper and the computer is the aim field. Now for Rikou's ability. It's like copying the codes that run down the program...... or let's just say copy paste the ability of the enemy. She can copy the ability of Mikoto with ease and if they battle who knows what might happen. She even battled the 2nd level 5 Kakine though the she can copy the ability of the others. The 2nd and 1st ranking Espers are a bit special on their own aim field but still she manage to make a decent fight against the rank 2. Now if she can use freely that ability and didn't rely on the drug anymore. Just imagine maybe she could copy multiple aim fields at once. Making her use multiple abilities at once.

I knew before that she had the potential to do this sort of thing - what I wasn't sure about was whether the 'controlling espers' comment earlier was referring to it. Has she put it to use yet?

So, I hope there's no problem in asking: what exactly happened with Touma's IB in this volume? In fact, what happened to him at the end (if there's any clear information about that, of course)?

Rikou and Frenda are (/were) in highschool (女子高生), with Saiai being the middleschooler (女子中学生; though apparently looks like she's 12 at best). Mugino is apparently left vague, but didn't Mikoto think she's at least a university student? Kamachi's really gotten vague with his ages, giving us a general age group with his characters (Oriana being "18–19", Rikou being in some grade in highschool), or he just simply doesn't hint at it.

And I'm pretty sure Rikou had the potential to become level 5 (according to Kakine at that), but after being cured, simply went back to that status.

I have to admit, this is the first pope character that turns out to be likable and not a stuck-up asshole but what about his subplot about finding a way to beat Fiamma... Or rather was it finding a way to beat the Holy Right?

What happened with the Pope?

He's doing something in Ch11 "The Star of Bethlehem" which is a chapter that focus on what's many side characters doing or how did they response to the power of the complete holy right which make the world trembling.
And Laura appears before the Pope at end of his part.

THe other characters in that chapter are such as Lessar&Sasha,Vacilissa,Aqua,Carissa&The maiden,Bardway&Mark Space and ETC

yes, our sadistic loli Bardway now gets her spotlight in the mainstory.
