The subs of this wonderful series are way below current standards in translation and quality. I have the first 3 dvds to the TV series on hand so we have raws up to 12 for now; If this ever picks up, ways of getting the others (ordering them or what not) can be determined then.

Mostly looking for experienced subbers. Though I am able to do alot of the positions, I'm not the best at doing things like ASS effects and encoding. And it's never bad to have a few other staff :P

And of course this would be a quality sub, just in case questions arise :P

This will mainly fall through if no translator steps up to the plate. It'd be really nice to see this out there again.

We are seeking the following staffs for the above-mentioned projects.

1.) Raw Providers

2.) Translators- Japanese< English

Being able to translate from Japanese to English.
No experience is required, but you must have a good knowledge of the Japanese language and a decent English.

3.) Translation Checkers

Sound knowledge of the Japanese language spot errors that might be left behind from the other translators.

4.) Editors

Going through the English translation to make sure it is grammatically sound, and makes sense.
Must also ensure that typos, and other errors in regards to the translation are eradicated.

Requirements: Must have a strong understanding of the English language.

5.) Timers

Must know how to scene time.

6.) Typesetters

Must have TSed 10+ episodes and we'll ask you to show your previous works.

Knowledge of AFX would be a definite advantage.

7.) Karaoke SFX

Designing the effects for the Opening/Closing songs of our projects.

8.) Encoder

Experience is a must.

9.) Quality Check

Check for issues such as graphical artifacts, timing errors, typos, grammar, legibility, sound and video quality.
Must of at least QCed 10+ episodes.

10.) Distro

XDCC, Direct Downloads or Seeders

Timer: Looking for someone who can pre-time releases. Workraws are provided through ftp access. Little to no Japanese required. Our demands for this job is you spend a couple hours a week timing one episode. Ability to work with Aegisub.

Distro: Looking for people with decent upload speeds to help distribute our releases through Bittorrent. Previliages include fast access to our releases (basically you're first to receive them).

Editor: Like the job is stated. Must be able to write/edit English well. A decent download speed will help with downloading workraws. Must be able to dedicate themselves to one episode a week. Your basic job is to check for punctuation, grammar, sentence structure...The usual.

Quality Assurance/Checker: Must have a decent internet connection to download. Dedicate yourself to watch a pre-release up to once or twice a week. You'll be checking for scene bleeds, mistimed lines, obvious spelling mistakes, or basically anything you find wrong.

Translator: Looking for more translators so that we can get maybe another project out or have a backup translator to help do translation checks. Again internet connection will be helpful in downloading workraws and other stuff.

Currently looking for another translator to help out our team since our lead translator recently got sick which has set him back a bit, and our other one is on a deadline with a work-related project until March. Extra help would be appreciated to reduce the workload on our current translators and for us to catch up, while hoping to improve efficiency with our projects.

Although we usually don't stress too much on time schedules, the translator should be able to translate an episode along with songs when applicable in a reasonable amount of time (within a few days) and be available in case of any questions our team members have. Our focus is to have fun subbing series while taking into account people's schedules with work and school, while promoting new and current series for the potential of being picked up for the US market. We just ask that you're reliable and keep us updated in the case of any issues that come up that may prevent you from completing the work within a certain amount of time.

Applicants for any other positions will be considered on case by case basis. If you're looking for a fun and friendly group to work with, stop by our main and recruit chans.
