For those of you who don't know about it... Here is an interesting article on how to tweak (or get rid of) the prefetching feature of WindowsXP. This would be especially useful on slower machines.

Yes, but remember, it will take up more RAM from your system. If you're already low on RAM, it's not worth it to have the program load faster. When prefetched, it cannot be flushed and will always take up your valuable memory.

Yeah, what's nice is that the article tells you how to disable it if you have a slow machine.
