Some neat patterns in the matches... although some of these are painfully predictable (Shana vs. Hecate? Really?

)

I *love* the tag-team matches though. That's a nice added difference that really spiced up this round.

I wonder if this is just an exception or if there will be more exhibition matches where regular season challengers (Aragaki Ayase and the Hirasawa sisters for example) will also be included in the exhibition match.

In general the 2012 new entrants did better on the Nova side and worse on the Stella side. Homura didn't seem to get the boost though and underperformed significantly against Minami, or maybe that her power level was just so low in relative to her phase I data to begin with that it's still an improvement (frightening thought isn't it?) Fear and Yozora for some reason did worse rather than better, though maybe it's just AB! vanguard duo picking up some steam. Oh, and Gasai Yuno performed horribly. Not that I was surprised.

On the stella side, aside from the intraseries giving me staggering error percentages (lol Mikoto getting 16.5 more precentage points than my prediction which doesn't account for intraseries), the only ones who deviated significantly from my model are the new entrants and... Holo. Why am I not surprised.

It seems I'll have to do quite a bit of adjusting to my stats. Not too many matches had a different winner than I expected but the margins of victory weren't what I expected. Last Order in particular did much better on Hitagi than I expected. Only a few months ago back in Diamond 2011, Hitagi managed nearly 63% on Last Order. Since then she got some screentime in Nisemonogatari and fell to a mere 54% on Last Order. I think a huge part of that is due to Last Order being a lot stronger now but I have no idea why that would be the case. A year after her previous series ended is a odd time to get a boost but maybe Last Order is just taking a page from Taiga's book. This probably isn't surprising to many people but Homura looked pretty bad out there relative to what she's done in the past. After Preliminary Phase III I said "I've got a stat down for Homura but it wouldn't be out of the question for Homura to be bumped up to Kuroneko's level or pushed down to Kasugano Sora's level.". Unless Shimada Minami has really been hiding her power level, Homura really doesn't look that much better than Sora. There a still a few characters with unknown strengh due to same series match ups. I'm interested in seeing how strong they will be. In the right exhibition match, I'm surprised Ririchiyo lost. I expected her to be much stronger than Mei and Miketsukami to be way, way stronger than Kouichi. Maybe Kouichi isn't actually dead weight or Mei is actually quite strong.

I'll chalk the Another win up to their popularity relative to Inu x Boku SS.

Or maybe Mei does have potential to be the next Saimoe queen. I wouldn't mind.

The another win was kind of a surprise. But could also tie that into Another having more overall attention given to it.

Results weren't too bad for me. Though would have liked Aria and Riko to be closer and for Nymph to overcome Louise. But could be worse.
